Mastodon Bird UI support for Mastodon v4.6.0 with CSS properties is coming soon. The theme will also be modularized using SCSS partials to match Mastodon's new style infrastructure.

The build process will include npm scripts and Parcel, making the theme ultra-portable for any Mastodon instance, whether added through the Custom CSS textarea or directly by a Mastodon admin.

I'll also create a simple bash script for Mastodon admins to enable the theme as a selectable option more easily than the current fork-and-cut method.

This is no easy feat, but definitely worth it.

Dear Microsoft, please revert UI changes in Windows 11. They are horrible. I understand that Microsoft and Google envy Apple for UI design. But every time they try to copy Apple’s UI, it becomes a massive failure.

탐라의 수학하시는 분들께 질문드려요....
처음으로 위상 수학 공부해보고 있는데, 책 보면서 어떤 개념에 대한 정의를 보고나서, 항상 뒤에 나오는 theorem이나 lemma를 혼자 증명해보려고 하는데 잘 안되는데 이게 욕심일까요ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 그냥 정리를 보고 그대로 음 이렇군 하고 이해만 하고 넘어가고 싶진 않아서요....ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 어떻게 해야 할까요

안녕하세요! 수학을 공부하신다니 반갑습니다!

해당 질문에 한정하여 대답하기보다는 더 넓은 접근을 보여드리는 것이 좋을 듯 하여 약간 길게 적어봅니다.

공부라는 여정 자체가 자신만의 공부법을 찾아가는 것이기에 제가 드릴 수 있는 말씀은 한정적이지만, 저라면 이렇게 접근할 것 같습니다:

1. 큰 그림부터 이해하기. 위상수학이 무얼 하는 분야이며, 어떤 등장인물과 그들의 관계성이 어떤 이야기를 전개하는지 볼 수 있을 것 같아요. (약간의 암기를 수반합니다.)

2. 궁금한 질문 찾기. 예컨대 구와 유클리드 공간이 왜 다른지, 다르다는 사실이 무얼 함의하는지 궁금할 수 있겠고, 혹은 Borsuk-Ulam theorem 등의 큰 정리가 궁금할 수도 있을 것 같습니다. 그리고 저는 주어진 명제의 증명을 찾는 것보다 이런 질문에 (개인적으로 만족할만한) 답하는 걸 좋아해요!

たまに、明治からの制度を「伝統」と謳われるや、戸籍崩壊など意味不明な主張は理解し難いです。

As a queer person, I sometimes think about cis straight people I know back home (Singapore) who truly think I had no reason to leave home. Even though my country doesn't recognize my marriage, even though there are no immigration benefits that accrue to my foreign same sex spouse, even though there are no anti-discrimination laws that exist to protect me, they think, I can still have a pretty good life as an out queer person. I can have money, and no one is actively wanting to beat me up or hurt me.

That's the problem.

The problem isn't the bigots (because at least I know what to expect), it's the people who think they are not bigots, who believe that I should be thankful and grateful because 'at least nobody is going to beat me up'.

Nobody will beat me up because I have middle class Chinese and cis privilege in that society. It's not the same for other people. It's not because I am accepted or tolerated. Also, that is a tremendously low bar. I expect more of my life. I expect to thrive, not just be grateful to survive.

커서를 비롯한 여러가지 AI 개발툴들이 쏟아지고 있습니다. 그리고 바이브 코딩이라는 말이 유행하기 시작했죠 하지만 실제로는 코딩을 아는 사람이 코드를 직접 타이핑 하지 않는 정도처럼 느껴졌었습니다. 그런데 구글의 안티그래비티는 진정한 바이브 코딩이 가능하더군요 설치는 여기 저기 알려 주시는 분들이 많기도 하고 사실 넥스트를 쭈욱 누르면 되기 때문에 큰 문제가 없습니다. 설치 후 프롬프트에 이렇게 입력 했습니다. "지금부터 귀멸의 칼날 게임을 만들꺼야. 귀멸의 칼날에는 아홉명의 주와 4명의 주인공이 등장해 그리고 악당 보스는 하현 6명 상현6명이야 이 등장인물들을 모두 검색하고 랜덤하게 이미지를 표시하면 그 사람의 이름을 맞추는 게임을 만들어줘" 그러자 개발 계획을 작성하더니 이렇게 대답을 해오더군요 "귀멸의 칼날 게임 구현 계획을 세웠습니다. 하현 6명 중 일부는 이미지가 없는 단역이라, 쿄우가이, 스사마루, 야하바 등 비중 있는 혈귀로 대체하여 6명을 채우겠습니다. 진행하시겠습니까?" 진행 해~ 혼자 뚝딱 뚝딱 웹을 검색하고 코딩을 마구 하더니 크롬을 실행 해서 테스트까지 완료 후 메세지가 출력 되었습니다. "귀멸의 칼날 인물 퀴즈 게임을 완성했습니다! d:/ai/demon_slayer_game/index.html을 열어서 플레이해보세요. 등장인물들의 이름을 맞춰보세요!" 오 좀 치는데? 그럼 난이도를 올려 볼까? "게임이 너무 쉬운거 같아 이미지중 일부를 확대해서 보여주고 정답을 입력해서 맞으면 이미지를 정상적으로 줄여서 보여주고 다음 문제로 넘어 가는 형식으로 바꿔줘" "난이도 조절을 위한 '이미지 확대/축소' 기능과 아이폰 구동을 위한 '단일 파일 변환' 계획을 세웠습니다. 구현을 시작하겠습니다." 똑딱 뚝딱 또 혼자 만들고 테스트를 끝냈습니다. 그런데 모바일에서 보니까 조금 문제가 있더군요. 레이아웃도 좀 수정하고 게임도 조금 더 버전업해 봅니다.
