견제되지 않는 독점적 권한과 독립적 기능수행은 같은 현상을 두고 나오는 서로 다른 레토릭일 뿐이라고 인지하는데, 그걸 갈라냘 수 있는 로직이 있다고 믿는 건 망상일 거라는 데에 베팅한다. 독약을 써야만 한다면 Benefit/risk ratio의 측면에서 접근할 수 밖에. 어정쩡하게 조절하면 탈모와 구토만 감수하고 암은 그대로 남가는 항암제 꼴이 날 테니까.

내란재판부 설차는 포이즌필이 맞다; 사법부에 틀어박힌 암종을 청산 과정에서 배제시킬 제도적 장치나 법제적 근거가 부재한 데에서 꺼내는 궁여지책이고, 정치덕 의도로 원오프 사법조직이 출범하는 선례를 만드는 건 실제로 ‘지키고자 하는 헌정질서를 위협하는‘ 부채로 돌아올 소지가 농후하다. 까딱 잘못하면 “입법독재하는 다수당 횡포를 저지할 게 없어서” 했다는 ‘계엄령’ 거울상이 되지 말란 법도 없는 것. 그러지 않으리라 보장 가능한 곡예 같은 방법이 있는지는 모르겠다.

DHH가 마이크로서비스에 대해 한소리 늘어놓은 모양인데,

늘상 하는 말이지만 기술 자체는 문제가 없음. 항상 문제는 그 기술을 사용하는 사람들임. 적절한 상황에서 적절한 곳에 적절한 기술을 쓰면 됨.

이걸 아키텍트가 제대로 설계만 하면 됨. 그걸 못해서 문제겠지만.

참고로 마이크로서비스와 마이크로서비스 아키텍처는 다른 얘기임.

개인적으로 마이크로서비스 자체는 꽤 괜찮은 컨셉이라고 생각함. 그걸 쓸데없이 쿠버네티스에 올리는 아키텍처가 문제인거지.

쿠버네티스 말고도 대안이 많답니다. 그리고 그 대안들은 많은 경우 관리 오버헤드가 크지 않아요. 쿠버네티스 빠들이 이바닥을 망쳐놨음.

회사에서 사용하는 모든 기술은 그 기술이 회사에 이익을 가져다 주는가 아닌가 관점에서 바라봐야 하지, 개발자의 자기만족을 위해 쓰이면 안됨.

Reading this really made me think about how these stories get interpreted and amplified by influential voices. I know this is old, and has a very vague retraction note at the top, but it's a good example of just how much the poor claims get repeated while the counterevidence doesn't. I do not believe this is an "important phenomenon" nor a discovery. Grandiose characterizes the "retraction" language too. By the way can't retract something never published. Do you remember NFTs? I remember NFTs. They exploded onto the scene in 2020 and were *everywhere* in the public discourse. At their peak in 2021, there were something like $25 billion in NFT sales globally. There were NFT Super Bowl ads. Jimmy Fallon had Paris Hilton on his show to awkwardly shill for NFTs.

And then, by 2022, 2023 at the latest, the bubble had burst and NFT market had lost up to 99% of its value.

Blessedly, I never have to think about those fucking Bored Apes ever again.

I remember thinking, when NFTs first appeared, that they were so obviously a scam, but also a vague sense of surprise that such an obvious scam was proliferating while we were still living through the previous blockchain-related scam, cryptocurrency. And since the NFT bubble burst, we moved on absurdly quickly to the next tech scam-bubble, AI.
