this also goes against the goals of having different passwords per site, because you've coupled all your logins to the same identity provider

this stuff also goes directly against the original goals of oauth. it was never supposed to provide identity authentication; it was supposed to let you grant one website access to the resources you own on another

but then facebook, a chief author of oauth 2.0, decided to make "log in with facebook" a universal thing, and here we are

I've just started Dune book 5.

Am I a glutton for punishment? Maybe.

At this point the writing doesn't even have to be that good, it's the soap opera effect where now I'm invested, I care about the characters enough that I can't just put them to one side just yet (not that many characters have made it into book 5 from the last two books, apart from one - who is arguably not the *same* but still).

I'll stop at 6. Maybe.

Meet the newest foster #cat to spend the night here. This is Rune, who has been hanging around a kind person's house for a few weeks but they were worried due to the extreme cold. They contacted Roy who asked me to put him up for the night. The new foster is picking him up later this afternoon. He seems like a sweet boy!
