How to add DuckDuckGo (noai) to Google Chrome and Brave

If you prefer an AI-free DuckDuckGo Search experience, you can use noai.duckduckgo.com instead of on duckduckgo.com. Searching on noai.duckduckgo.com works the same as search on duckduckgo.com, except all AI features are turned off and AI-generated images are filtered out of results by default.
NOTE: Truly, for better privacy, consider switching to Firefox, LibreWolf, Vivaldi, Brave, or Tor.
1. In Google Chrome or Brave, go to Settings, then Search Engines.
2. Click "Manage search engines and site search".
3. Scroll down to the "Site search" section, and lick the "Add" button.
4. Give it a meaningful name and nickname, and add "https://noai.duckduckgo.com/search?q=%25s" in the URL field.
5. Click "Add", then scroll up a little to the "Search engines" section. Find your new entry, click the three dots next to it, and select "Default" to make this the default search engine.
6. Exit Settings.

It's always weird how so many movies and TV shows seem to be set in an alternate universe where either COVID never happened, or it did and we chose to end it.

We have an Apple TV and for some reason it is not only is it quieter than anything else plugged into the TV sound system, but it seriously appears to be quieter and quieter and quieter every few months, so that we're constantly having to turn the tv up louder and louder for the volume to seem normal and we finally can't turn it up anymore. Can anyone think of a reason this might happen? I have all the dynamic volume adjustment/"make voice clearer" stuff switched off.

@mxk that's the hope, at least. Part of the experiment is to see if the market will actually put its money where its mouth is in terms of valuing openness in security.
Unfortunately the hardware "kettles" don't come cheap, so next steps always have to strike a balance between progress on openness, and organic, high quality sources of money (such as actual customer demand) that are free of conflicts of interest.
I suspect it will be a very slow process to grow the market for projects like this, especially given the shakiness of the economy these days and the giant sucking sound that is AI taking all the money out any non-AI centered projects.

つきましては、誕生日の際にいただいたプレゼントへの返礼品をお渡しする時期を『今年の年末』から『2026年度初春頃』に一旦変更させてください。右利きなので書き物自体は出来るのですが、左手で紙をおさえたりなんだり、どうしても不自由が伴うと思いますので……。
退院して、痛みが引いてからゆっくりと時間をかけて制作したいと思います。
