採用プロセスでのAI利用、求職者も企業も不幸になる悪循環が発生 新研究 - CNN.co.jp cnn.co.jp/tech/35241957.html

:forgejo: forgejo.it/Fediverso/app-e-cli

Una emoji 👻 nella colonna “Licenza” indica che il progetto è inattivo o è abbandonato.

:fediverso: Unisciti al gruppo @fediverso

@devol:fediverso: Devol ⁂ :devol: @fediverso for a cleaner view of this list there is also delightful.coding.social/delig, which maybe there should be a Italian translation of. Seems like having your own fork of this list just to add one line description in Italian is sorta pointless. cc @smallcircles🫧 socialcoding.. is there any work done to internationalize the lists?

Bridalveil Falls

Captured from a tranquil vantage across the Merced River, this image reveals Bridalveil Falls in its full springtime crescendo—an 800-foot cascade shrouded in mist and motion. The falls thunder down granite cliffs, veiled in vapor that dances in the sunlight, evoking a sense of renewal and elemental power. A timeless tribute to nature’s grandeur.

Bridalveil Falls

Imagine standing on the bank of a cold, fast‑moving river in Yosemite National Park. Across the water, an enormous granite cliff rises straight up, its surface rugged and pale. From high above, an 800‑foot waterfall—Bridalveil Falls—pours downward in a long, white ribbon. The water doesn’t fall in a straight line; it breaks into mist as it hits the rocks and drifts outward like a veil blowing in the wind.

Sunlight catches the spray, making the falling water shimmer. At the base of the cliff, dark green pines and forest brush frame the scene, adding depth and contrast to the bright, moving water.

The whole scene feels powerful yet peaceful—nature in motion, surrounded by stillness.

(Offer rescinded, people are being crappy in the replies, I can't keep up with this bc it broke containment, I have to step away from this):

I used to work at Starbucks. I know exactly how they make every drink. If you ever want an at-home dupe, let me know what one and I probably know how to make it. If not, I guarantee I can figure it out easily enough. Screw Starbucks and their union busting and various other issues, save yourself a few bucks.

For instance: Their mocha is literally just hot cocoa mix with a pinch of salt, and a little extra sugar, mixed with water. Use a hot cocoa packet, add just enough milk to make it into a thinned paste/thick syrup, and add coffee (instant coffee absolutely works for this) and hot milk. It'll taste better and you can get hot cocoa packs that'll work at a dollar tree for 2 for a buck.

Since the last Android release @CoMaps allows using a custom server from which to download map files.

This decreases reliance on CoMaps-run infrastructure but is also great for people who live in places with limited internet connectivity, as you can now serve maps from local networks.

To make it easier, I wrote a small CLI tool over the weekend that downloads maps of interest & then serves them locally. A first alpha release for testing is on Codeberg:
