Why would you use AI to lookup up something as basic and safety critical as tides? How have people lost the capability of just using a search engine? I don’t understand why so many people want to be spoon fed by a chat bot spouting bollocks.
Just insane, stupid, and risky as hell.
Use reputable sources for critical information. Weather and tide information are a solved problem. (Weather is not always perfect!)

그나마 블스가 이토록 트위터와 흡사하게 만들어질 수 있었던 이유는 본디 블스가 트위터의 사내 프로젝트로 시작되었기 때문. 블스는 트위터의 기술적 토대(AT 프로토콜)를 고치기 위해 시작되었지만 일론 머스크가 등장하고 트위터의 내부 사정이 불안정해지자 현 CEO 제이 그래버가 트위터를 떠나 외부에서 블스를 시작하기로 결정합니다. 이때까지만 해도 지금과 같은 SNS 서비스를 자체 제공할 생각은 없었지만 사람들이 블스를 독립된 SNS로 착각하고 기대한다는 걸 알게 되고, AT 프로토콜 기능 시연을 위해 블스가 탄생합니다.

비관적인 이야기는 가능한 하지 않으려 하는데 이 이야기만은 하려고요. 인터넷의 시대는 끝난 것 같습니다. 90년대부터 2010년대 말까지, 30년간 유저들의 놀이터가 되어줬던 인터넷은 더 이상 존재하지 않고 AI를 위한 연료로서의 데이터만 남게 될 거란 생각이 듭니다. 새로운 시대가 시작되고 있는데, 그 너머에 무엇이 있을지 알 수 없을 뿐더어 희망적인 전망이 보이지 않는다는 게 참 두렵습니다.

黎明期からインターネットを使ってた身だと、極端な言い方をすれば「インターネットにアップしたものはフリー素材」みたいによく言われていたから、SNS時代からの人とは感覚が違うというのはありそう。
いや流石に私はフリー素材だと思ってる訳ではないけど、そのくらいの覚悟でいるのがちょうどいいというか。
よく「ダウンロード禁止！」みたいに言う人もいるけど、ほとんどの場合、相手の端末に表示されている時点でダウンロード（キャッシュ）はされちゃってるから、ダウンロードされたくないならインターネットにアップしちゃダメなのよな…

웹의 좀 더 단순한 대안으로 만들어진 제미니 프로토콜에 한 때 관심이 조금 있었는데, 얼마 지나지 않아 금방 흥미가 식었더랬다. 다른 것보다 텍스트를 중요시 한다는 철학에 비해 텍스트가 무엇인지에 대한 관점이 너무 나이브하다고 느꼈다. 제미니는 아랍어나 히브리어 같은 RTL 언어들의 텍스트를 담아낼 수 있는가? 몽골어나 한문 같은 세로쓰기 언어의 텍스트는? 난독 한자에 후리가나나 한글을 달 수 있는가? 이런 질문들에 대답을 해주지 못한다고 느꼈다.
