Imagine if your language had a word that meant both "food" and "junk food", or at least that's how it was used in common parlance. Then people started pushing back against critiques of (junk) food, saying, "well we've always had food." This is exactly like the people (and i've seen this a lot lately) online pontificating about technology and how it's so great and important to humanity and we've always had it and in fact it predates humans. This is like saying otters busted open shells with rocks 5 million years ago so you should let your children eat nothing but takis all day long.
So. Stupid. I contend that to make an argument that collapses a term so much, conflates it with more general concepts in order to purposely confuse the issue, is gaslighting and basically makes the term meaningless, cuts off in advance any real conversation that's actually going on. fuck you people. You all know that all the modern complaints about tech are talking about _modern tech_. Do a little pattern match in your head and stick "modern" in before every use of the word "technology" and then come back and discuss in good faith.

사실 회사가 일시적으로 어려우면 해고당할수는 있음 빠르게 직장을 구하면 괜찮은데... 근데 경기가 전반적으로 안 좋으면 본인의 실력과 관계없이 취업이 잘 안되고 몇주 몇달 늘어지면 그때부터 매우 매우 심각해지는것 같음 맞벌이 커플이 각자 직장에서 해고를 당했는데 직업을 못구하는 경우... 자녀도 있고 모기지론도 있는데 취업이 안되면 저축이 소모되다가 결국 자기가 살던 집을 팔아야하고 완전 바닥으로 주저 앉는것이고 다시 원래대로 올라오려면 오랜 시간이 걸리고 등등

そろそろ寝よう
從今年買的書挑一本推薦，我會挑這本。但也要說這個被作者用地下社會來描述的移工生活圈其實一點都不地下，只是日常的一個社群。一般就算是台灣人對台灣人要跨社群去了解生活圈以外的生活方式也有難度，從這角度看來生活中沒有意識到的「地下」社會其實相當多。
儘管這樣講，現實生活中跨社群並不是一件平常的事，跨社群代表脫離日常生活範圍、與陌生的人們交流，在一個建立起生活習慣的社會人來說這是需要花費精力的，這本書或說這樣的書的價值就在於閱讀者能藉由文字一窺日常以外的世界，雖然是透過別人的眼，但也是一扇窗口，我喜歡這樣的作品，也推薦給各位。

같이 공부하던 학우분들을 한국에서 다시 뵐수 있는 기회가 있었는데 어디어디가 어렵다더라 잘된다더라 이야기 들을수 있었고 잘하는 사람들임에도 불구하고 조용히 해고당한 경우가 꽤 많구나 싶고... 내가 볼땐 이미 전세계적인 경제위기는 물밑에서 시작중인것 아닌가 싶긴함...

유희왕 유희왕 머리스타일들은 상당히 난해하고 카드게임으로 시작해서 모든게 좀 무리수적으로 카드게임인 세계라 그 어릴때 볼 때에도 뇌 빼고 보았던 기억이 나요. 그런데, 이 친구가 주인공일때를 가장 열심히 보았던것 같아.

웹의 좀 더 단순한 대안으로 만들어진 제미니 프로토콜에 한 때 관심이 조금 있었는데, 얼마 지나지 않아 금방 흥미가 식었더랬다. 다른 것보다 텍스트를 중요시 한다는 철학에 비해 텍스트가 무엇인지에 대한 관점이 너무 나이브하다고 느꼈다. 제미니는 아랍어나 히브리어 같은 RTL 언어들의 텍스트를 담아낼 수 있는가? 몽골어나 한문 같은 세로쓰기 언어의 텍스트는? 난독 한자에 후리가나나 한글을 달 수 있는가? 이런 질문들에 대답을 해주지 못한다고 느꼈다.
@hongminhee洪 民憙 (Hong Minhee) 저도 전에 제미니 프로토콜 관심 있었는데 이런 점은 생각조차 못해봤네요. 심지어 해커뉴스에 가끔 올라오는 제미니 프로토콜 소개 글에 달리는 비판 댓글들조차도 이 문제를 언급한 적이 없었던 것 같아요. 분명 생각해봐야 할 문제인데 말이죠...
