1. From Catalina on, full-height sidebars started eating into valuable toolbar real estate.
2. In Tahoe, not only to stupid big corner radii eats more into you usable area, they now allow the inspector sidebars to cut even more into toolbar space.
3. The volume & scrub controls are now an extra click away.
Just compare these newer UIs to #iTunes from 2010. Full-width, excellent use of space.

Upyo 만들 때도 상당히 바이브 코딩 농도가 높았는데, 지금 만들고 있는 LLM 기반 번역 라이브러리는 그보다도 더 바이크 코딩 농도를 높여서 작업하고 있다. 초기 세팅 및 인터페이스 선언 외에는 내가 직접 짠 코드가 거의 없을 정도. 그래도 어떻게든 돌아가는 게 만들어지는 걸 보니 LLM 성능도 많이 좋아진 것 같다. (코딩 에이전트들의 노하우도 깊어진 것도 한몫 하겠지만.)

字が下手なくせに手書き回帰しようとしてる。なんだか最近、自分の中の反・コンピュータ的な傾向が少し強まっている。LLMの影響もあるかもしれないし、電子書籍へのがっかり感も影響しているかもしれない。
もっと古くは、10代の頃に神林長平を読んで植え付けられた「メカニカルは信用できるが、電子制御は信用できない」という観念に端を発しているのかもしれない。

I love that this game is always emphasizing how this character speaks heavily English-accented Japanese. I guess because she's a golden retriever, and those are from Scotland. Someone greeted her with ごきげん in hiragana, and she replies with ゴキゲン in katakana. Very cute way of depicting an accent textually. She's also constantly littering her Japanese with bits of English, written in hiragana or katakana.
