Gibt es eigentlich ein Tool, in das ich pdfs und/oder epubs schmeißen kann, das mir die ganzen Fußnoten löscht (inklusive der Verweisnummern im Text), damit die Texte von Screenreadern nicht verhackstückelt werden?
Hab hier Dokumente, die quasi nicht anhörbar sind, weil auf jeder Seite unten die Fußnoten den Textfluss unterbrechen und die Verweise teilweise mehrfach pro Satz vorkommen.
Ich lese mit ReadEra Premium.

My 🇩🇪 #Germany 🚅 diagram has been updated for 2026! It focuses on long-distance train lines that run at least three times a day. Providing a more interpretable alternative to #DB 's official #IC and #ICE diagram with a stronger focus on the system (regularly running connections and their frequency instead of the sole line definition) was my initial motivation for starting creating diagrams a couple of years ago.

@bazkiebazkie, ministry of gendersoup @meljoann humour and laughing is an antidote to intimidation by fear and violence. there's no hope if we can't be silly and make situations where we laugh at the face of horror. violence, agression, death suspends all activity and this freezing needs to be resisted - also with art - be it satire, sillyness, immersive instrumental ambient music, or subversive artivism. so go on, make your silly jokes and art, live (non-ignorant) life in face of danger and armageddon - it's what sustains our humanity, our empathy, our communities.

here's a thesis: joy is power. it threatens authority. therefore, authorities strive to control it.
it is telling to then see where joy and its instruments are expressly permitted, and where they are being suppressed.
there is a history to joy. the counterculture movement was suppressed precisely because it started out as joyful.
and it is understandable then why minority issues co-opted symbols of joy: the rainbow. the word "gay".
but this is just a thesis. i'm still building it.

I finally got the data transfer from the AISC110C high-speed camera sensor working!
It's a 5€ chip that outputs 80x120 video at up to 40k fps.
Data is read with a Xilinx Spartan7 and transmitted via USB3 with a Cypress FX3, each on its own little PCB.
The front PCB is exchangeable, making this a neat modular platform. I already have an analog video frontend with the ADV7182 and am working on a Cameralink interface.
Videos are coming tomorrow, I need more light for the high framerates.
