당분간 이런 날씨는 이어집니다. 850hPa 일기도를 보면 몽골 부근에 위치한 고기압의 세력이 매우 강한 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 지구 온난화로 인해 편서풍이 밀려내려오면서 구조적으로 북극 한기가 내려오는 길이 만들어진 것인데요. 1월 18~19일 정도를 고비로 북극 소용돌이가 안정화되면 삼한사온이라고는 찾아볼 수 없는 이번 추위도 끝날 것으로 예상됩니다. 대략 2주 가량 더 남았네요. 깊어가는 추위에 건강 주의하실 것을 당부드리며, 주말동안 내릴 눈에 대비하시고 교통안전도 기도드리겠습니다. 그러면 좋은 하루 되세요!

아침에는 복사냉각과 강한 바람으로 인해 매우 춥지만 오후부터는 점차 기온이 오르겠는데요. 오늘 아침 최저기온은 -12~-1℃로 어제보다 5℃ 가까이 낮지만, 낮 최고기온은 1~9℃로 어제와 비슷하게 오르겠습니다. 주요 도시별로는 서울 -6~4℃, 대전 -6~5℃, 대구 -4~7℃, 광주 -3~7℃, 부산 -1~9℃, 제주 3~9℃입니다. 한편 경기 북동부, 강원 북부내륙, 강원 산지, 제주도에는 고기압의 통과 과정에서 지형의 영향으로 늦은 오후부터 비나 눈이 소량 (1mm 안팎의 비나 1cm 안팎의 눈) 내릴 것으로 예상됩니다.

GFS는 수도권 중심으로, ECMWF는 서해안/충청권 중심으로 눈이 내릴 것을 전망하고 있는데요. 바싹 말라 있는 겨울 가뭄이 어느 정도 풀리되 너무 한 곳에 몰아 내려서 사고가 나진 않길 바랍니다. 한편, 고기압이 저렇게 힘을 쓴다는건 계속 춥다는 신호와도 같습니다. 당분간 추위가 이어집니다. 특히 8일경에는 기온이 급락, 11일에는 한 차례 더 급락하 가능성이 있으니 참고 부탁드립니다. 그러면 상세한 오늘 날씨 보시겠습니다. 한반도는 본격적으로 고기압의 뒤쪽 경계면에 접어들면서 점점 구름 많은 날씨가 될 것으로 예상됩니다.

사운딩 차트를 보면 DGZ(수지상 결정 성장역, Dendritic Growth Zone)가 850-850hPa의 습윤 대기층에 걸쳐 있는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 눈이 성장하기 좋은 효율적 위치죠. 거기다 해기차로 인해 지상 부근의 습도 공급이 꽤나 유리할 가능성도 큽니다. 문제는 바람이 매우 강해서, 해안가에 집중되기보다 대전이나 세종 등으로 눈구름이 밀려 들어갈 가능성이 크다는 것입니다. 만약에 강풍역이 약해지면 특정 지역에 집중적으로 눈 폭탄이 쏟아지겠지만, 이 예상이 유지된다면 내륙 넓은 지역까지 눈이 내릴 것으로 보입니다.

만약에 몽골 부근의 고기압이 이동하지 않고 현 위치에 고정되어 있다면 바람 방향이 북서풍으로 고정, 특정 지역에 드릴처럼 당근형 구름이 생길 가능성이 있습니다. 반면 그 고기압이 움직여서 바람 방향을 북북서 방향으로 바꾸게 된다면 구름대는 해안선을 훑고 지나가는 형태로 변해 강설이 집중되지 않고 분산될 수 있는데... 아직까지는 강한 한기의 블로킹에 의해 고기압이 몽골 인근에 머물 것으로 예상됩니다. 주말에 정말 많은 눈이 올지도 모르겠습니다. 하층 수렴선이 어디에 생길지가 이번 강설 규모의 결정 요인이 될 것으로 보이는데요.

서해에서 이런 당근형 구름이 발생하는 이유는 중국, 주로 보하이만 일대에서 차가운 바람이 한반도 방향으로 불어올 때 상대적으로 온난습윤한 서해를 지나며 선상강수대를 형성하는건데요. 문제는 이번 주말 이런 강설대가 나타날 가능성이 있다는겁니다. 아직 제법 남았기 때문에 확신까지는 못하지만 데이터들을 보면 850hPa에는 서고동저형 배치로 한기가 밀려내려오고 있고, 500hPa에는 -40℃에 달하는 한랭핵과 트라프가 배치되어 대기 불안정이 심해져 있는 상황입니다. 문제는 GEM 강수 에코 예상을 보면 선상강수대가 예상된다는건데요.

많은 이들이 착각하고 있는데, 해당 구조물은 한중잠정조치수역에 위치해 있습니다. 분명 한국의 EEZ 내긴 하지만 한편으로는 중국의 EEZ와도 겹쳐서 중간선 너머에는 권리를 행사하지 않도록 한 배타적경제수역법 제5조에 의해 크게 압박은 할 수 없었죠. 하지만 분명 이를 보고 중국의 서해 영유권 주장을 위한 근거 만들기라고 분석할 수도 있기에 선제적으로 대한민국 정부에서 문제 제기를 한 것으로 보입니다. 물론 당연히 구조물 높이 상 이걸로 인공강우를 어쩌고 한다는건 말짱 다 거짓말입니다. 새 대류 세포의 생성 과정을 오독한거죠.

Ubiquiti people: I am futzing with Teleport and WireGuard as hosted on a Cloud Gateway Fiber for the first time.

I can connect with either no problem, however, I **cannot** access any internal hosts other than the gateway itself. That's applicable to both Teleport & WireGuard.

It feels to me like a firewall issue, but I'm a bit out of my depth.

What am I doing wrong here?
