물론 아닌 사람들도 있겠죠 그냥 안 배워도 꼰대문화가 잘 맞는 사람도 있을거고 배워도 안 맞는 사람도 있을거고 걍 그딴거 안 지키고 살아도 평생을 먹고 살 돈이 있는 사람도 있을거고... 하지만 그 몇 퍼센트를 제외한 대부분은 어린 시절 배운대로 살아가고 그럼 결국 어린 시절의 꼰대교육을 받을 정도로 여유있는 집안의 사람들과 그러지 못한 사람들의 격차는 더 커질 수 밖에 없지 않나...라고 생각합니다

이번에 Rust에 입문을 해보려고 대략적인 맛보기를 해보기로 했다. 마침 Rust로 해봤으면 하는 주제가 있었어서, 입문도 할겸 그냥 해봄.

채찍피티 선생과 함께 하루이틀 정도 학습을 했는데 언어 특징 때문인지 고생 좀 했지만, 그래도 입문자 수준에 맞는 결과물이 나왔다.

sphinx-fediverse 0.9.0 is now released. This is likely the last beta release. Since the previous version...

New features:
- Per-directive overrides of global options
- Automatic linting of CSS
- Ability to use multiple fedi instances/flavors in one project
- Significantly increase support for Misskey Flavored Markdown (blur, flip, scale, bg/fg color, ruby text, font, border)
- Significantly more tests (overall code coverage ~70%)

Bug fixes:
- Fix some MFM rendering errors
- Fix Misskey not reporting global boosts correctly

Being a more or less solo developer with a zillion esoteric projects at this point, I find it *so* easy to understand how compelling the promise of LLM coding is. It promises a substitute for human relationships; need to bounce an idea off of it? Just issue a prompt and get some slop! No need to struggle in isolation. It's easy enough to respond to that by saying "talk to an actual person! hire juniors! do the actual work of organizing an open source project!" But … none of those things are easy

I feel like you have to ask yourself, what is the point of open sourcing your software like this? This also goes for companies who are antagonistic to their upstreams or “trust me bro I’ll open source it when it’s ready”. What do you think the goal of open sourcing is? And if your answer isn’t to collaborate with other people to make something you couldn’t do alone, why not?

It is incredible to me that the Democrats in the House and Senate are not collectively and systematically calling for Trump’s impeachment and removal over his actions toward Venezuela and his threats against Denmark/Greenland. I don’t give a fig that they don’t have the votes to make this happen. They should be spelling out the case for it regardless.

We so desperately need new Democratic leadership in the House and Senate. We need a serious opposition party.

직장매너? 사회생활? 관련해 가지고... 쳐꼰대같은소리지만(벌써이나이밖에안되었는데. 큰일입니다....) 살아보니까. 사람 살리는 다정함이 진짜 사소한 것에서 비롯되는경우가 많았어요 고생하셨어요 잘하고있어요 같은 작은 칭찬이나 동료가 주고가는 사탕이나 커피같은 작은 선물같은거 이런걸 (사회적) 처신/사회생활 요령만으로만 가두는거 너무 빡빡하다 생각함 그러니까... 개빡센 세상이지만 상냥하기를 멈추지말자 당신의 상냥함에 누군가는 구원받을 것이고... 님도 누군가의 상냥함에 구원받는 순간이 반드시 찾아온다...
