I see so many people (mostly men, this isn't random) talking about how Meta's Ray-Ban glasses are "incredible" or "still not ready" yet, I don't see anyone calling it what it is: Voyeurism.

This technology will increase voyeurism and stalking aggressions in unacceptable ways. These glasses are a voyeur's dream weapon. Also a doxxer's and stalker's dream weapon.

Why are our laws and cultures not protecting us against this?

When my business opens in the spring, we will have a separate sign next to our usual photo policy sign explicitly banning those glasses, whether they are on or off. And if they are someone's only prescription glasses, all the better. We don't need their business and it will send a message that they should've thought about this beforehand.

We need to make these things marks of shame and the people who wear them pariahs.

Cirrus PDS now support passkey auth. It was a bit of a puzzle adding it to a tool where where the admin is all CLI, but I'm really pleased with the flow I came up with. One of the ways I'm dealing with AI slop at work is that when I'm giving feedback on the work I'm making sure to never assign the responsibility of the bad code to the AI. I'm directly saying that "this change that YOU made needs to be corrected". I'm always assigning the output of the AI to the person who put me in the position of reviewing the work. It is their responsibility to read the code that they're trying to review, they are responsible for 100% of the code, so they also get 100% of the blame when it's bad. If a change is confusing or nonsensical I'll ask "why did YOU make this change?". I'll never ask why an AI made a change, that we cannot know. All we can know is why someone thought it was acceptable to ship garbage, and we can assign them the responsibility for the garbage that they're willing to ship

Unwrap Live is a one-day online workshop event where we'll focus entirely on creating special effects with SwiftUI. The event is aimed at intermediate to advanced developers, but I'll be explaining all the concepts along the way. We'll be focusing on a wide variety of topics, including drawing with Canvas, layer effects, scroll effects, custom text rendering, Metal shaders, and more – it's a lot of fun, and the skills you'll learn will help you add lots of surprise and delight to your next app! All sessions will take place on US Eastern time, from 9am to 4pm. They will be recorded, and you'll be able to download the videos afterwards. After nearly 3 hours of the most intense exercise the world has ever seen, the VERY UNFAIR timer on the elliptical machine still only showed 30 minutes. 지귀연을 선해해서, 국회의장처럼 어떻게든 나중에 절차상의 문제로 시비 걸리지 않으려는, 피해자의 모든 권리를 최대한 보장해주는 것이라는 의견도 있으나, 진짜 택도 없는 소리지. 가난한 일반 시민이 법정에서 똑같은 대우 받으면 인정한다. 평범 이하의 사람들은 법에 규정된 대우와 존중도 제대로 못 받고 있을텐데.
