A few weeks ago, my 5 yo daughter came back from school singing what's probably her first radio song, APT by Rosé & Bruno Mars.

It's a reasonably groovy song, very radio-friendly, not unbearable but definitely not brilliant, a classic preformatted radio hit.
But as the kid had her little dance to go with it, it instantly found a special place at home.

Now, here's for the side effect: every time the popular apt command shows up on my screen, I read it the way they sing it.

結局のところ、画像生成も文章生成も音声生成も、ウェブにアップロードされたデータを収集して学習ソースにしてサービス化するというパターンの先駆けになったのが機械翻訳で、機械学習ベースの機械翻訳にだってハルシネーションもあったしデータの利用方法の同意が取れてないのも明らかだったけれど大勢が歓迎した、翻訳という創作を保護しようとしなかった、それが今に繋がっていると思うんだよな。
