Douglas Adams once said something, answering a question from a fan about whether Arthur Dent was a “hero”, and whether the Hitchhiker stories were “gaily whimsical” or cynical. But to the English, he is a hero. Terrible things happen to him, he complains about it a bit quite articulately, so we can really feel it along with him - then calms down and has a cup of tea. My kind of guy!

This morning woke up to have Firefox proudly bragging that they made their Android interface worse

Now the menu you use is no longer a menu, instead of tapping the menu and then back, forward, reload being right there under your thumb, now the menu comes up from the *bottom*, for no fucking reason, and I have to move my thumb all the way down there, which is an actual problem because phones are too large now so if I'm holding the phone one handed might have to reposition my hand.

You prob know this already, but if you duck-search, you can go to a slightly different entry point at https://noai.duckduckgo.com to do web searches without AI slop dumping on you.

I see they've dressed up the landing page their! Now more obviously non-AI. I mean, it's a selling feature, so yeah, go to town guys.

(if you still google things, consider the duck search! it's worked well for me for years, and the non-ai version is a nice step forward).

Certum과의 인증 평가 과정에서, 저는 현재 월세 거주자이고 관리 사무소에서 공과금을 관리하고 있기에 영문 증명 서류를 떼는게 어려웠는데, 여권과 영문 주민등록등본으로 인증이 가능했습니다.

또한 가격도 합리적인 선에서 지불할 수 있었고, HSM 대신 SimplySign이라는 클라우드 기반 인증서 관리 도구를 사용하는 것을 조건으로 크게 단가를 낮출 수 있었습니다.
