平素より Mastodon-japan.net をご利用いただき、誠にありがとうございます。
2022年より運営してまいりました当サーバーでございますが、2026年1月31日をもちまして閉鎖させていただくこととなりました。
ここ1年程は運営を継続できないかと模索してまいりましたが、サーバーメンテナンスとモデレーション業務にかかる時間的コストを管理者が確保することが困難となり、やむを得ず閉鎖の決断に至りました。
なお、他者あるいは他団体への運営移行につきましては、ユーザーデータに含まれる個人情報の保護の観点から実施いたしません。閉鎖日以降は、管理人の責任のもと、サーバー上の全データを完全に削除いたします。
つきましては、ご利用中の皆様には閉鎖日までに必要なデータのエクスポート処理等を各自で実施していただきますよう、お願い申し上げます。
これまで当サーバーをご愛顧いただき、誠にありがとうございました。

お知らせいたしましたサーバー閉鎖に伴い、12月中に現在の運営費支援の受付を終了させていただきます。
各支援サービス(支援プラン)につきましては、管理人側にて廃止手続きを行いますが、ご自身で支援停止のお手続きが可能な方は、お手数ですが各自での停止操作をお願い申し上げます。
なお、閉鎖および2026年1月分までの運営費精算完了後に余剰となった支援金につきましては、日本赤十字社へ寄付させていただきます。

"How does software X deal with that?"
And 98.5% the answer is: they don't, they just let it fail. Often silently. Every time I keep relearning how low the standards usually are in this industry.

の話をするとき、つい「マニアックな SNS やってまして〜」みたいな感じで話してしまう自分がいるんだけど、そう言ってしまいがちな自分に対して最近「別にそんなに過度に知名度に配慮しなくても良いよな」という気持ちになってきている。
「ほとんど知られてないけど、こちとらオープンスターンダード 
だし！」みたいな気持ちも心の奥底にはあるけど、そもそもオープンスタンダードという事の重要性も世の中的には「だからなに？」っていうひともいるだろうし、そういう思想強めなことを主張したいわけではなくて、
マジョリティーかマイノリティーか、ということをわざわざ自分のほうから気にすることになんの意味があるのか、そんなことを気にする必要はないんじゃないか、という気持ちになってきている、という感じ。
