I wish CSS had native pan & zoom support. Basically, what maps, infinite canvases, etc. do — an ability for some container to be independently, infinitely (or with some constraints) zoomed and panned/scrolled around.

Elements inside could listen to the zoom level and transform, simplifying forms when zooming out or getting more details when zooming in.

Since github sucks and I want it to play a smaller and less important role in my life and the world, I have cancelled my github sponsorship of hachyderm. Now I'm contributing through opencollective, instead.

With #HolosDiscover we checked multiple criteria before indexing: "indexable" enabled, account not locked, no #nobot or #noindex in bio, not in opted-out list, only public posts. Every deletion, edit or block was processed instantly via #ActivityPub.
Google uses that same "indexable" flag but ignores everything else, keeps deleted content cached for weeks.
We shut it down after pushback. Was that the right call? Don't hesitate to share, this concerns the whole Fediverse.

Being able to write code and being able to keep writing code are two very different beasts to wrangle with.
