The worst fucking thing a search system can do to a user is to "fix typos".
Here's a VK community I found on my phone. I wanted to open it on my computer. I typed its name into the search field. I had my "typo" helpfully "fixed" and got presented with results that don't match my query.
Please, I beg you, if you're building a search feature, always treat user input as a strict order, not a suggestion. No dictionaries. No synonyms. No fuzzy matching. Just dumb substring search.

She gets it in a way other politicians just don’t.

If you live in the #GortonAndDenton constituency and are thinking of voting #Labour (or #LibDem), please consider voting for the #GreenParty instead. It is very unlikely that Labour will win, and either way #KeirStarmer will be deemed to have failed.
The big risk, as always, is that the progressive parties (in which I generously include Labour) will split their vote, allowing the right-wing parties to win with a minority. Any centrist or left-winger shouldn't want #ReformUK to win with their parachuted-in proto-fascist.
Even if you don't care that much about politics, please use your vote and vote for the local #Green candidate #HannahSpencer, a plumber and an experienced councillor, who will properly represent the people of your constituency. It's safe to say she's not the kind of person who will be heading off to the Chagos Islands for a publicity stunt.

하긴 생각해보면 캐논 RF 초기 렌즈들 중 많은 수가 범용은 EF + 컨버터로 해결하고, RF 렌즈는 뭔가 특성을 줘서 새로 살 이유를 부여하려고 한 흔적이 보이긴 한다. 이제 본격적으로 EF 대체를 위한 렌즈들도 나오겠지만 초기 비틀린 렌즈들의 재미도 이어줬으면 좋겠다.

guys i just found out that there is another Barber opera. Some guy named Francesco Morlacchi wrote a new score to the Petrosellini libretto used by Paisiello and he had the extremely terrible luck to premiere his opera literally two months after Rossini's Barber, thus all his hard work was ignored and lost to history

The frustrating part about attack papers like this is how much they step on the same rakes that were deemed hazardous for more than 20 years.
"Stop using LLMs to generate output at us." Multiple times per day now, we get issues, comments, and PRs that are clearly copy paste LLM output, with no apparent care or interest in the project and community. They all sound the same, the initial post, the way they respond to feedback, walls of text with 5 subheadings even for 1 line docs changes. Every user profile is the same, one or more of: 1 month old, a giant flashy readme with no substance, 1000 PRs opened yesterday.

And regardless of accuracy (which is low!), that is a very, very bad idea.
Because misinformation and inaccuracies in LLM output are often subtle, the advice to use GenAI tools “critically” does not work well for summarization. Slight inaccuracies can be very damaging in academic work, but can usually only be detected by a close reading of the text and/or an expert. However, needing to read the full text closely to verify the AI output defeats the whole purpose of generating a summary.
