The answer to problems in sociotechnical systems is not always "more software", "better software" or "open source software".
A lot of the time the best solution is _less software_ and sometimes even _no software_.

Een sidestep.. Het valt me op dat bijna niemand op de fediverse meer boost. Een boost is een schaars goed, en op zich is dat een gunstige ontwikkeling die aansluit bi het Personal social networking paradigma van SX. Maar voor orgs en mensen die een goede boodschap willen overdragen naar een groter publiek, zoals ook CEDO, is het geen goede zaak. Er moet een goede balans zijn, waarbij ook non-profits en actie groepen het gevoel hebben nut te behalen dmv campagnes i.p.v. tijdrovende friend-of-a-friend netwerk opbouw.

I love when I look up a project and it's like "okay to build this, install poetry" and I click poetry and it goes "poetry should be installed with pipx" and I click pipx and it says "on windows, you should install pipx with scoop" so I click scoop and then my brain melts out my ears because this is too many layers deep

It is time! After 4 years at my current job, I am in need of change. I'm looking for a new role in the world of SRE, infrastructure, and platform building. I've worked on building clouds, building on clouds, moving to clouds, moving from clouds, and all other sorts of things that do not sound real to people who do not work in tech.
I thrive in environments with autonomy, especially ones where technical teams aren't just given freedom to decided how to build things, but allowed input on what and when too. I've built resilient and reliable platforms for which I've had no issue being on-call, with team health coming first.
Based in Berlin, Germany, but looking for ideally remote/possibly hybrid opportunities.
