Lenovo a décidé cette année de produire des ordinateurs réparables, qu'il vendent directement sous Linux (si on le choisi dans la configuration de la machine lors de l'achat).

Alors j'aime pas faire de la pub, et encore moins pour une multinationale… mais comme ça fait 20 ans que je répare des ordinateurs sur lesquels j'installe des Linux, j'hallucine un peu, c'est Noël, j'vais me réveiller…

Quand t'as passé 20 ans à militer pour un truc et que finalement le monde change, semble te donner raison, mais que t'y es pour rien, ça fait comme un grand vide.

도서관의 일반 자료실 문 앞에 붙은 '어린이는 어린이 자료실을 이용하라'는 안내가 눈에 띄었다. 어린이 자료실에는 '어른은 일반 자료실을 이용하라'는 안내가 없는데. '어린이 자료실'은 어린이의 편의를 위한 것이지 어린이의 공간을 제한하려고 만든 게 아니다. 어린이가 찾고 싶은 책이 일반 자료실에 있을 수도 있고, 어린이또 나처럼 이 책저 책 구경하면서 시간을 보내고 싶을 수 있다. 설마 어린이가 일반 자료실에 들어가려고 할 때 실제로 막아서지는 않으리라 믿는다. 하지만 그 안내문을 보는 어린이의 마음은 어떨까? 공공시설에서 되도록 안 오기를 바라는 이용자가 되는 것은 분명 좋은 경험은 아닐 것이다.

PSA: Vim is one of the most stable software packages I've ever used, and if I pick an arbitrary version from the source code, I can "make install" it and it'll very likely Just Work. For the time being, I simply plan to not "git pull" and keep using the Vim version that I have.

The only problem I can think of is being unable to compile it with newer versions of external interpreters, I'd consider looking for pure vimscript alternatives to any python or ruby plugins you might be using.
