i'm also doing things "properly" this time so lexicon resolution actually uses real lexicons, components actually are set up as records and xrpc endpoints, the editor can actually produce each of the things on the screen so there's a creation story, etc

somehow it feels like the heart of the project. i hope i can at least get to feature parity with the first prototype in this area. the first prototype was a week of vibecoded nonsense and it was impossible to maintain. this time it's so much easier to have claude do things bc codebase is clean-ish

i even kept the overused obviously vibecoded claude "neobrutalist" aesthetic because with a touch of windows xp, it almost kind of sort of comes to life. i don't love it but everything else gives me a wrong feeling so far. like i don't even mind if it visually diverges from other parts of the app

I say: the Fediverse - by the people, for the people - has passionate advocates who use their talents to promote it, often without any financial incentives. It comes from the heart.

Before FOSDEM I asked my friend @sturmsuchtChris 🦑 - a super talented photographer - if he'd consider bringing his professional camera to take photos of speakers in the Social Web devroom. He did... and so did I.

내가 예엣날(근 20년 전)에 Windows에서 C++쓸때는 도대체 어떻게 했나... 를 되짚어보니 무서워서 외부 라이브러리를 안썼다. Linux에서 시스템 패키지 매니저가 -dev 패키지를 제공해서 신세계를 느꼈고... 내가 패키지 시스템이 원래 있던 프로그래밍 언어를 처음부터 썼더라면 코딩을 좀 더 많이하고 잘 했을지도 모르겠다는 생각이 든다.

追記。このあたりの興味深く不快でもある話のひとつとして、ダウンロード販売で海外からも購入できるようになってからも、メーカーのサイトにあるR18追加パッチのDL数が販売数の数倍あった、ってのがあります。まあ、お察しください。
