That is a great outcome, and something to cherish and protect.

Currently I feel the slow growth of the fediverse is healthy and natural growth we can cope with. And being the lightning rod for corporate attention, borrows more time to mature and evolve.

The dynamics will totally change if the technology adoption lifecycle gets beyond early adopter phase, and 1,000's of commercial vendors start to launch products in this new market space that we, pioneers, made available to them.

The question is whether we can handle that. I think currently we cannot and we have to hand over fedi's fate to the market and hope for the best.

Hey lovely fediverse friends, as many of you might know, I help run some fediverse instances and I am currently paying way way too much money out of my own pocket because mastodon and mastohost have an awful habit of caching way too much and not giving good user accessible tools to prune away unneeded cruft. I could really use some community help supporting the instances I am currently paying for. Already in the process of figuring out how to move to a new server this month...

아무튼 아무튼... 최근 인공지능 광풍이 상당히 심하지요. M7에 속한 기업들이 모두 어마어마한 부채를 끌어오고 있습니다.
그런데 전 세계의 재화(돈)는 한계가 있고, 가뜩이나 미친듯이 돈 끌어다 써서 힘든데 트럼프가 전쟁질을 해서 유가가 급등하고 있어요.
당장은 어떨지 몰라도 인공지능 분야의 투자 안정도도 심하게 훼손된 것은 사실입니다. 얘네들.. 현재는 거의 전부 가스발전소를 이용하고 있거든요. 미국산 가스라고 해도 가격 폭등은 못 피합니다.

judging online information quality based on site where it appeared: a comprehensive guide

- "How To (...)" in the title, cookie banners, lots of side-information written in a way that wastes your time: SEO slop, don't bother. You might as well make a wild guess, same likelyhood it'll be correct

- official docs for $x, autogenerated by a rube-goldberg machine and automagically pushed into whatever-pages by a fully-skidoodled, post-quantum CI pipeline: describes everything, except the exact fact you're looking for.

- no HTTPS, tilde in the name, DNS with 4+ dots, likely hosted on some dusty uni server, white background with absolutely no CSS: one of the best resources on the subject. you question how it's even still online

- site titled "Garry's blog", default wordpress favicon, last update either previous month or 12 years ago: golden. crystal-clear exposition, good examples and screenshots framed so well you don't even need arrows pointing places. likely used as a cheat-sheet daily by everyone in the community
