It kills me to even think this but I probably need to put all of my projects aside to focus on film studies until I have completed a short film.

Then I can decide if I want to continue in that world or switch to something else.

That means no tech conferences or software projects and I probably need to be more selective about which live events are worth my attention.

This sounds meaningful, but not fun. What's fun is flitting between interests and not really making progress on anything. 😅

Well, cat, sitting ON my sewing is not the smartest thing you've ever done... not the least smart either, to be perfectly fair, but somewhere in the top half of things I wish you wouldn't do. I have had to extract the pincushion from partly underneath him more than once.

I spent the morning giving away cuttings and peach pits at a local seed swap. Immaculately organized, hopefully the first of many in the future. Here, as in most small rural towns, one doesn't expect big turnouts, but the folks that do come are usually quite engaged and eager for more good things to happen. One word in this thank you note from one of the organizers made it all next level worthwhile.
