This past week has been tremendous in terms of Fedi releases.
It began on Monday with the release of the Comfy Collaborations album by various artists which was eloquently reviewed by @inpc.
Then came two excellent single releases: Dancing and Kissing by Bitplanes (@bazkie) and Cities by @sknob.
The week was capped off perfectly with the launch of @meljoann’s latest album, Status, which included a well-attended live streamed launch party.
This super release week also marked the fourth week since NHAM launched as an online music platform for Fedi artists who distribute their music on Fair Platforms. We’ve now been live for 28 full days and astonishingly we’re averaging unique daily visitor numbers well in to four figures already!
It’s testament to the thriving and growing indie music scene in the Fedi and on the fair platforms.
A huge thank you to everyone involved and everyone supporting, listening, watching and reading!

I wrote(tbh, just packaged) a Haskell library that generates TreeSitter bindings and the corresponding AST type definition from TreeSitter language definition. Writing parsers using a parser combinator is fun, of course. However, with TreeSitter, you can eat free lunches of language tooling.

우리 지역 모 고등학교도 최근이 과학고 전환 통과됐다고 국힘이나 민주당이나 다 축하 현수막 걸어놓음.
그리고 나름 우승도 해봤다는 그 학교 야구부 등 각종 운동부는 해체 수순(법적으로 과학고에는 운동부 운영 불가). 근데 학교나 시나 교육청이나 그 생각들을 안 해서 대안이 없음.

나는 랩톱으로 MacBook Pro M1 Max를 쓰고 있고 사실 지금까지도 아주 마음에 들지만 딱 아쉬운 게 두 가지다:
특히 스토리지 문제가 가장 답답한데, 요즘 어느 정도 규모가 되는 Haskell이나 Rust 같은 프로젝트 빌드하고 나면 10 GB 이상 차지하는 경우는 예사이기 때문이다. 그 외에도 JavaScript 프로젝트들도 node_modules 안에 심연이 기다리고 있는 경우가 잦고…
그래서 MacBook Air를 2 TB 스토리지로 사려고 오랫동안 벼르고 있었는데, MacBook Air 시리즈의 여태까지 문제는 기본 M 시리즈 칩을 쓰기 때문에 최대 RAM 용량이 24 GB에 그쳤다는 것. 이미 10년 전부터 32 GB를 써 왔던 내게는 너무 좁기에 기본 M 시리즈 칩의 최대 RAM 용량이 커지기만을 기다려 왔고, 작년에 M4 시리즈가 처음 등장했을 때 32 GB가 가능해졌다는 걸 확인한 뒤로 MacBook Air M4만을 고대해 왔다.
그래서 지난주에 드디어 출시가 되었는데, 여전히 한국에서는 발매일 미정… 대체 언제까지 기다려야 하나 답답하기 짝이 없다.
구미호 파워가 넘친다 했더니만 또 음력 보름날인 것이와요.
캥캥.여우신령 힘 넘친다.
런닝머신 프로그램 1번으로 1시간씩 두 번 해도 안지쳤다 했더니 뭔가 했더니..
