While the Trump Team seems slightly more willing to murder random people (ie Mike Walz: “The first target – their top missile guy – we had positive ID of him walking into his girlfriend’s building and it’s now collapsed”), but the whole bombing Yemen thing is hardly a new policy. There’s not much daylight between what the Signal group chat is doing and what the Biden administration did.

Here's a fun fact. You don't need to pay for the Twitter API if you know the post you want to retrieve.

The Twitter embedding service provides a fully inflated JSON response. It includes parents to replies, quote posts, links to media, total number of likes, retweets, replies, etc.

Here's an example of someone replying to me:

You need to add a token to the end, but it can be any random string. No other restrictions.

Very useful for archiving.

Stuck with just my phone, let's talk tabletop game design.

I am a proponent of mechanics helping to build and guide the story. Otherwise, why bother with them?

But one place this always seems to fall short is character traits.

Especially in low-combat games, these theoretically hold up the core of the narrative but they just sit like lumps waiting to give you a +1.

Hey @mike@flipboard.social, are Flipboard collections (or are they magazines? I forget the term!) federating out as as:Group? I'm wondering whether it would be possible for NodeBB to load them in as categories, and be able to browse them natively...

I'm just not able to easily find them in the Flipboard UI right now, but I'm relatively new at using the app :slightly_smiling_face:

For us civilians, Signal is one of the better options
