Did you see anytime different patch number when you run uname -a or freebsd-version?
It is not wrong because not all patches are applied to kernel or to userland. uname shows kernel patch.
check results of commands below:
$ freebsd-version -r (for kernel patch number)
$ freebsd-version -u (for userland patch number)

After the article from The Atlantic, I've seen a lot of misinformation circulating among journalists. I'm not getting into the political side of things, but many are focusing on the fact that Signal was used, claiming it's "not encrypted" or "not secure." This really saddens me because it spreads the wrong message.

On the other hand, saying Signal is insecure because of what happened is like when my neighbor installed a top-quality security door, then left the keys hanging outside and had a visit from burglars. Not to mention, of course, that it's simply not the right tool for this level of confidentiality.

I want to buy the newest Lenovo Chromebook (duet gen9) and install Linux on it but I have no clue whether it'll work because I didn't find any discussion about it but I did find the device tree for it in mainline kernel source but I'm really fearful some parts just don't work because it's not officially available in China and I'll not be able to get refund and the current chromebook is just good enough for web browsing and other stuff so I don't know if I really need a new one

14年前はできなかったことも多かったけれど、今、自信を持って言えることは、我々はあの時よりもできることが確実に増えている。あの頃無名だった OpenStreetMap は現在、世界の地理空間情報のインフラを支えている。まだまだ課題も多いけれど、解決すべき課題が明確に見えていることはとてもやりがいがある。
政治的には世界各地で苦しいニュースも飛び交っているけれども、我々はきっと世の中をもっとよくすることができる。
