개인적으로 꼽는 이번 파면선고 최대 감동점: > 계엄이 신속히 해제된 것은 모두 시민의 노력과 군경의 소극적 수행 덕분이므로 중대성 판단에 고려될 수 없다 최대 사이다점: > 취임후 거대 야당때문에 국정운영이 힘들었단건 알겠는데, 그럼 총선때 그거 뒤집게 잘했어야지? 총선도 망했잖아?

Looks like M4 support for is going be rather painful. We’re still focusing on upstreaming M1/M2 support but other people have been trying to bring up m1n1 on M4 and it looks like a few things changed:

When configuring a macho boot object we now get dropped into an environment where Apple’s SPTM is running in GL2 and we are supposed to talk to it from EL2 with MMU already enabled to setup pagetables. This neither works for Linux nor for running XNU under our hypervisor to reverse engineer the new hardware.

When configuring a raw boot object we’re dropped into EL2 with GL2 and most (all?) Apple specific extensions disabled. This is totally fine for Linux but we can’t run XNU under our hypervisor that we use to reverse engineer the hardware in this state. This also seems to be broken for >=15.2 right now because it probably isn’t very well tested 😕

Some other things during my day (I worked earlier, but won't get much into that).

I heard some DJ (DJ Big Kev) playin some Mac Dre (but like "clean"/radio edits?) while I was walkin to the Metreon. Still, I tipped him some cash and he seemed nice enough. Lookin up more of his info online, he is young but sounded as if he has a decent ear for some local legends.

I finally managed to pay for a ticket for Lauren Mayberry at The Fillmore, but: they emailed it to me rather than printed out a ticket (and the whole reason I went to the box office in person is because Ticketmaster/LiveNation are unusable for me online), and when I follow the link in the email: it is to the Ticketmaster site, it still claims my phone # is invalid so it won't let me log in even though my email is verified. JFC, I guess I will be dealing with their box office again. So effin annoying. Whatever litigation TicketMaster/LiveNation is undergoing cannot result in a conviction quickly enough. It will probably turn out OK (they got me into see Skinny Puppy with similar BS years ago) but I hate venues subsumed by LiveNation/TicketMaster, they're absolutely fucking horrible in every possible way.

As I was heading back to BART I noticed some street closures and loud music and lights near the Montgomery station and I guess there is some first Thursdays thing in San Francisco? More info here: https://www.dftsf.com

Neat that they closed some streets to facilitate more pedestrians.

Most of the music I heard, sounded awful. Bad song choice, worse volume (one "stage" [I guess? I didn't get close enough] was just LOUD bass. Good thing I had earplugs in, it was still too loud even then!)

The crowds were, not good.

Lots of vendors, but none selling anything of interest to me.

Long lines at all the food trucks (none of which seemed vegan friendly).

I basically walked down to one end and turned around as quickly as I could while checking out some of the side alleys too. Seemed as if there were maybe 3 or 4 music areas plus at least one dancer I think I recognize from BART with his own speaker and box to collect donations.

Still took me maybe 20+ minutes to navigate the crowds from one end to the other and they really only closed off like a block or two?

I got the impression a lot of folks were just curious to see what it was all about.

But I didn't get the impression it was something I wanted to stick around for more of at all as I wasn't enjoying myself whatsoever.

Generally speaking, I may be misanthropic, but I enjoy some people watching. There were at least a few cute stylish fashionable individuals who were easy on the eyes, but they were without question, outliers. Most of the folks I saw I could have done without.

Been working for the past couple days on a parametric player controller for 2D platformers in with the main goal of making it easier for designers to focus on levels and their own mechanics rather than fiddling with unintuitive, physics-facing values like acceleration rate and jump velocity.

Current features include wall jumping, double/triple/etc. jumping, wall sliding, coyote time, and input buffering. All of these are data-driven and easy to update (including at runtime)
