In the process of porting my MPW C program to CodeWarrior; I'm now past the easy part of "need to fix missing header files and rename old toolbox calls" and into the need-to-read-a-book parts of "C doesn't have a concept of booleans so what does this compiler expect" and how to make pointers to functions work kind of stuff...

@justineJustine Smithies The config file --init seems to work well. Thanks for that! One thing I noticed is that it forces full, absolute paths, which may be an issue if I sync the config between Mac and Linux (/Users/jbaty vs /home/jbaty). Not sure if ~/ or ${HOME} would work, but it might make things more portable.
Is there a podcast series exploring #Linux through a blind person? Not for me, for others, but could be worth getting to listen and follow along. If not a podcast, I'll take YouTube, but the person likes podcasts because of RSS feeds.

Did you ever consider Tcl? It has the shell feel and very a good exec abstraction, but also good lists and maps. Years ago, I was a great fan, but it seems to be a niche today (except for gitk).

I’m not a fan of snap and a few other changes Ubuntu made, so I switched (back) to Fedora for desktop on the Framework. Debian in all the other places (servers, Pi, my MNT Pocket Reform) so it’s a bit of a mix.

전에 rpi에서 돌릴 컨테이너 이미지를 x86_64에서 빌드하는데 musl사용한 단일 실행 바이너리라고 크로스컴파일하고는 scratch에 넣었더니만 aarch64 바이너리를 포함한 x86_64 이미지가 나왔던 기억이 있다. 그때 당시에 고칠 방법이 이미지를 파일로 export하고는 메타데이터를 고치는 방법 뿐이었던 것 같은데, 지금은 어떤지 모르겠다.
