還沒讀臉書吹哨者的書，但看了幾個訪談影片，既然看了，幾個有感的部分節錄簡寫：
1. AI
臉書吹哨者 Sarah Wynn-Williams 現在從事 AI 相關工作。出書是因為 AI x 社群平台影響政治和民主只會越來越烈，大家有權力知道臉書真實的操作，才知道該怎麼面對。
2. 最強大的政治工具：
她對祖克柏初始的印象：「覺得很驚訝，怎麼會有人製造出了這時代 #最強大的政治工具，但自己不知道」。但祖克伯後來當然知道了，還有些政治生涯探索的行動，例如有陣子勤跑搖擺洲。（而另一方面又宣揚臉書是珍藏回憶的地方...）
3. 臉書在中國的營收暴增：
兩年前 Meta 來自中國市場營收 2022 年是 7 billion（70 億美金，2240 億台幣)，今年則是 18 billion（180 億美金，5760 億台幣），而這還是臉書不在中國上線的情況。

hmm. this is not really something to complain about, but I find myself lightly annoyed that at some point mastodon decided I have "5k" followers, which makes celebrating the milestone where the tooltip actually tips over to 5000 (I do not have 5000 yet) slightly more annoying.
In the interests of promoting my work and trying to use the fediverse as a viable promotional platform I keep _some_ track of this, but not like obsessive enough track to know when it actually ticked over.
