@SnoopJ it's just the same facet, over and over again. it's sort of like having a relative who is a flat-earther who also has a job, like, maintaining a timezone database. like you just assume that he's going to figure it out, that at some point he'll be looking at the physical model of the earth that he looks at every single day for his job and go "oh, right, I get it now"

For the last 20 years ive been part of a small online modding scene for a very niche sandbox video game where a large part of the communtiy is people of all art ability contributing to produce work for the game either in written, 3d or 2d art form.

the introduction of ai generative image work into the community lead to 95% of the human designed 2d and 3d graphic art to stop being produced entirely.

Bullshit universities: the future of automated education - AI & SOCIETY

The advent of ChatGPT, and the subsequent rapid improvement in the performance of what has become known as Generative AI, has led to many pundits declaring that AI will revolutionize education, as well as work, in the future. In this paper, we argue that enthusiasm for the use of AI in tertiary education is misplaced. A proper understanding of the nature of the outputs of AI suggests that it would be profoundly misguided to replace human teachers with AI, while the history of automation in other settings suggests that it is naïve to think that AI can be developed to assist human teachers without replacing them. The dream that AI could teach students effectively neglects the importance of ‘learning how’ in order to ‘learn that’, that teachers are also role models, and the social nature of education. To the extent that students need to learn how to use AI, they should do so in specialized study skills units. Rather than creating a market for dodgy educational AI by lowering their ambitions about what they can offer, universities should invest in smaller class sizes and teachers who are passionate about their disciplines. To flourish in the future, just as much as they do today, societies will need people who have learned to think and not—or not just—intelligent machines.

我實在不太願意談不倫。

看了數十年的偶像，與一個道德水準非常高的日本娛樂圈，不倫是其中最常見、有時最嚴厲的罪過。會說「有時」，是因為這則罪會因為當事人的性別與階級高低而有所不同。清純、美麗、初犯者，通常會受到最嚴重的責罰，這有時與真實司法的判罪慣例截然不同。

但看了越久，就越了解觀眾對明星不倫的批判與法律太不相同，那是一種浮動式、民粹性的批判，以前的蕩婦可能在現代不值一提，現在的不倫在過去可能反而被稱為風流。但不同的是，觀眾都很投入，彷彿這場不倫的主角是他們自己。

所以演藝圈不倫也是某種偶像崇拜，它與「我好想跟她一樣耀眼」的推粉心態是很類似的，觀眾想成為不倫玉女紅星的對象，成為玉女解放欲望的對象。不倫有時也是80年代恐怖片，讓觀眾站在道德高位批判，就像我們嘲笑《13號星期五》精蟲上腦而被殺的年輕人：你就是管不住小頭，才被砍掉大頭。

大王個人不喜歡這種對不倫的批評，一如我不喜歡真愛粉或是愛佔道德高位者一樣，不倫是一個極小團體內的家務事，而我們並不真正了解這三人之間，或是這些巨星內心經歷過什麼事，我們始終是參觀動物園的旅客，看到的是獸欄裡的一面而已。

所以大王不會寫不倫新聞。
