I haven't listened to this podcast yet, but I did already read Autism Is Not a Disease: The Politics of Neurodiversity and found it enlightening. Knowing how long it takes for anything to be written and published, the timing of this book is serendipitous. It's a fairly short, readable book, not a heavy lift. Highly recommend!

It's not typical legal for a common citizen to be this slow at producing discovery material if they were in the fed's position.

법률적 혼인제도에 대한 가장 급진적이고 개방적인 방법은, 임의 인원수의 성인 간 임의적 연대로 구성과 해체가 가능한 시민결합제도만을 법률로 인정한 뒤, 그 제도를 어떻게 활용할지는 시민 개개인의 가치관에 일임하는 형태가 되지 않을까요. 그 중 누군가는 "결혼"이라는 관계를 구현하는 데에 그 시민결합제도를 쓰기도 하겠고요. 그 대신 그렇게 된 사회에서 혼인이란 정말 종교적, 민속적 풍습으로만 남게 될 것. "그들은 일요일마다 종교 행사를 가고 시민결합은 꼭 출생가능한 사람 둘이서만 하는데 그걸 결혼이라고 부르며 신성시해요."

박근혜 탄핵 후 아직 조기대선이 치뤄지던 시절 쓴 책을 읽었다. 박근혜와 경쟁할 땐 진보적으로 나서던 민주당·문재인이, 탄핵 이후 사실상 1강이 되자 정책들이 오히려 후퇴하고 있어 우려된다는 대목이 많이 등장했다. 그리고 문재인은 오바마처럼 좌고우면하며 진보정책보다 보수의 눈치를 보며 '협치' 운운 했다. 당시 오바마의 결과는 트럼프였다는 것은 알았지만, 이제 우리는 문재인의 결과가 윤석열이라는 것을 안다.
그 **과오**를 다시 반복해서는 안 된다. '문재인 시즌 2'는 '윤석열 시즌 2'의 재림이다.

Note to self: Wherever you're not using Poudriere, don't change the FreeBSD package source to "latest" by default and out of habit. You might find that working with "quarterly" is sufficient, and can have some advantages.
