a bright light: the Delaware County Council (where I live) just unanimously passed a resolution “to declare Delaware County a safe county for the LGBTQ+ community.” I and many others spoke in favor of it and asked that this be only the first step of many. every councilmember affirmed that there would be more steps to come to protect us from discrimination and protect our rights. I am filled with optimism right now. this doesn’t solve everything, but it reminds me that people fight for us.
看完了影集《 #權力遊戲 》S1，先說說無雷心得。
看沒幾分鐘就甚感佩服，我認為這應該是原著的功力：這部故事中出場角色繁多，但他們從來不會對著鏡頭自我介紹（或被介紹）「我是來自哪裡的某某某，我的性格如何如何」，而是非常自然地從小事件或是其他人的談話中帶出來。太多輕小說偷懶地用粗劣的方式作人物介紹，如今看到一部如此嫻熟自然地從事件帶出人物、從人物發展事件……這樣環環相扣的故事，光是敘事手法就令我感動。
其中令我印象深刻的是一個侏儒角色，我不確定這位演員是不是演得特別好，因為這個角色本身就太出色、太討觀眾喜愛了！有這樣的角色可以發揮，我想對所有侏儒演員都感到振奮吧。有點理解新版《白雪公主》刪除了小矮人身高異於常人的設定，讓侏儒演員們不滿。
平心而論，故事中還是有一些扁平角色，但作者很好地利用他們來推進、襯托主要角色的成長與蛻變。雖然我還沒有讀小說，但我想這部小說應該會是所有小說寫作課的教科書吧？！所有教授小說寫作的課程上，都一定會擷它的一兩篇來當作教材吧！

我常常不知道一些人的 aggression 是怎麼來的，比如我樓下鄰居，我可能不小心弄倒了一個東西，或者把辦公椅（有輪子）從客廳推回房間，就能獲得她重重地錘天花板好幾次，而如果我在晚上九點後還敢開吸塵器，她就會重擊天花板或多次，如果我沒有停下，比如使用時間超過30秒，就會獲得她上樓惡狠狠按門鈴外加大罵三分鐘；而甚至……有時我半夜洗澡了用吹風機，甚至打個噴嚏，連我娃在隔壁睡覺都吵不醒的聲音，都能被警告。
至於在我門上貼東西、信箱裡投東西的事情他們早就幹過了。
當然，似乎別的鄰居都知道她的瘋狂，在她狂按我門鈴並大罵的時候，並沒有任何人出來理她。
