Today I had to choose what kind of microwave popcorn to buy, and there were like 6 varieties. Butter, Movie Theater Butter, Homestyle Butter, Extra Butter, Double Butter, and Light Butter. No "no butter" option was provided.
The ingredients list for literally 100% of these flavors was palm oil and lactic acid. Literally none of them had any butter in them. It was not entirely clear if they had different amounts of palm oil.
