참고로 싱가포르의 태형은 영국 식민지 잔재이며(말레이시아 브루나이도 같은 이유로 태형이 아직 존재), 숙련된 전문가가 "가능한 모든 힘을 다해" 때리는데 한 대만 맞아도 피부가 갈라지고 흉터가 남음. 태형을 언제 집행하는지 전날까지 알려주지 않기 때문에 정신적 고문이기도 함. 단순히 사이다식으로 소비할 내용이 아니고 싱가포르가 이거 한다고 고문방지조약 같은 국제조약에 서명을 안 하고 있음. 당장 폐지되어야 할 악법/악습.

Jeder Kanton gibt ungefähr bis 5 Millionen Franken pro Jahr für Microsoft-Lizenzen aus (M365 Cloud). Und verpflichtet sich auf 5 Jahre. Macht mindestens 25 Mio CHF.

Stell Dir mal vor, rechnen wir das mal hoch für alle 26 Kantone. Macht 650 Millionen Franken...

die Microsoft nun mit diesen Verträgen erhält.

Mit dieser Summe hätte man in den letzten Jahren besser ordentliche, souveräne und benutzerfreundliche IT-Infrastruktur gebaut, die von allen Kantonen und Gemeinden mit gutem Gewissen genutzt werden kann.

EDIT: die Zahl 5 Mio ist bei sehr bevölkerungsreichen Kantonen...und 650 Mio wohl zu hoch geschätzt. Aber auch schon bei realistischeren 400 Mio. wäre das genügend.

Delightful observation I keep making (exponentially more often?) in the last years:

Copy-pasting and adapting from my own (hand-written, if you will) software corpus is a _huge, reciprocal productivity boost_.

[x] I constantly build on and expand my own repertoire
[x] I understand (or at least once understood :)) everything I reuse
[x] Re-used code can have issues but I have full trust that it was written with best intent, to the best of my ability
[x] Reused code is improved/refined with each iteration
[x] Improved code goes around to be re-integrated with the source eventually
[x] I learn tremendously in the process
[x] I don't need to pay anyone for this
[x] No new datacenters need to be built for this
[x] This gets better every year

IMO the use of presence indicators, notification DMs and threads everywhere the antidote to focussed work and makes Slack communication stressful and chaotic.
