i hate that this is the first time i actually think the US system has advantages over Canada's, and yeah i know it's only if you have money, but for once it's my US friends being like "you should just get a new doctor" or "find a GI specialist and go to them" and I'm like, I can't, I need a referral, I can't just go to whoever I want that can help me

also if anybody knows a specific internal medicine doctor in the Toronto area that has a specialty in like motility issues or mysterious gut ailments or believes in SIBO or just enjoys solving weird cases, please tell me because I can tell my doctor to refer me to them specifically

If you post a lot of news to the Fedi ask yourself this question...

How much of that news that you post is positive?

Now, I'm not saying to ignore the bad stuff. I'm simply asking you to look at why you don't post the good stuff as much?

Is it harder to find the good news? If so, why do you think that is? If not, why do you think we don't see more good news being posted?
