I have a USB MTP device which doesn't work on Linux or Android.
Both system occasionally see the file structure, but can't retrieve the files.
However, when I use a Windows VirtualBox on Linux, I can retrieve the files via USB passthrough.

WTAF?

I thought MTP was widely standardised. How is that possible? How can a VM see something that the host refuses to acknowledge?

It's an embedded device, not an Android device, so I can't upgrade anything.

Very weird. Speculation welcome!

@dansup I think it was totally unnecessary to target mutual aid posts, when many people, artists, businesses also make these posts asking for sales with those same tools but go unmentioned. It was your specific singling out and disparaging mutual aid posters (the most vulnerable) that is problematic and again, completely unnecessary to make your point. I think YOU are missing the point of the complaints.

세제를 푼 물에 설거지 거리를 담그고 바로 말리는 영국식 설거지법은, 세제를 물에 풀어 쓴다는 점에서는 배울 점이 있다. (헹구기는 해야 지만)

실제로 주방세제 사용 권장량을 보면 많아야 물 1L당 2mL 정도이므로, 500배 물에 희석해서 써야 함. 해보면 그 정도로 충분히 기름때가 녹고(당연히 그러니까 권장량이다!), 헹굼도 간단하게 끝난다.

사실 세제 먹는 양으로 따지면 우리가 영국인보다 많을지도 모름.;;

(추가) 이 정도보다 더 강력한 세정력이 필요하다면 워싱 소다를 쓰는 게 맞습니다. 이 경우에는 장갑을 꼭 끼어야 하고요.

Clarifying Before Reasoning: A Coq Prover with Structural Context

In this work, we investigate whether improving task clarity can enhance reasoning ability of large language models, focusing on theorem proving in Coq. We introduce a concept-level metric to evaluate task clarity and show that adding structured semantic context to the standard input used by modern LLMs, leads to a 1.85$\times$ improvement in clarity score (44.5\%~$\rightarrow$~82.3\%). Using the general-purpose model \texttt{DeepSeek-V3}, our approach leads to a 2.1$\times$ improvement in proof success (21.8\%~$\rightarrow$~45.8\%) and outperforms the previous state-of-the-art \texttt{Graph2Tac} (33.2\%). We evaluate this on 1,386 theorems randomly sampled from 15 standard Coq packages, following the same evaluation protocol as \texttt{Graph2Tac}. Furthermore, fine-tuning smaller models on our structured data can achieve even higher performance (48.6\%). Our method uses selective concept unfolding to enrich task descriptions, and employs a Planner--Executor architecture. These findings highlight the value of structured task representations in bridging the gap between understanding and reasoning.

The Federated Identity Working Group has published a First Public Working Draft of Digital Credentials. This API enables websites to request credentials, and for users to consent to return credentials that they carry around in digital wallets.

Early implementations of the Digital Credentials API are now available from Google and Apple. People can view demos and conduct experiments, and the experimentation will inform the evolution of this specification. Read more at:
