Hey Fediverse! Request for comments on some software. I'm looking for an application to assist with multiple social media accounts, ie: posting to multiple platforms simultaneously, (Mastodon included of course), and ideally one that supports multiple brand account groups so I can manage clients.
Hootsuite would fit the bill feature-wise but it's paid-only, can't be self hosted, and doesn't support Mastodon.
I'm not opposed to paying for software, but open source and self-hosting are musts.
Any thoughts?

The “default” working model for open source projects (and some small/medium businesses) is working in public: you don’t need permission to contribute, you can just show up.
This works surprisingly well much of the time … but sometimes it doesn’t. When it doesn’t, people often retreat into working in private, with no mechanism for broader involvement.

oh yeah, one more thing: this doesn't add much complexity. rust has very few coercions, and ! -> any type is one of them. but that's pretty easy. and all that's really required. and this also means like, in your panic case, it's a simple coercion rather than solving unification at all call sites...

I don't like how Docker messes with your firewall rules and will even force some degree of iptables dependence on you. I have tried using its DOCKER-USER chain but the results were flaky.
Podman, on the other hand, can be run completely daemonless and rootless meaning it will be not only uninterested but also completely unable to mess with your firewall.
This plus a reverse proxy give me so much versatility for a much lower cognitive cost compared to trying to make Docker behave.
Feels like such a basic thing to have your firewall rules managed strictly by you without any interference...

시작은 그랬습니다만. 대중 음악이 발전하면서 오페라와 악극/가극의 경계가 모호해져가고, 뮤지컬이라는 장르가 등장하면서 세부적인 형식은 많이 겹쳐졌습니다만 아직은 클래식 연주회에 노래와 연극을 덧붙인 오페라는 가수, 연극에 음악을 입혀서 극을 이어가는 뮤지컬은 배우라고 부르는게 맞겠죠.
ChatGPT 4o가 아부를 그렇게 잘하다가 내려가니 사람들 반응이 어떘는지 기억해보시면 이해가 가실겁니다 그리고 어찌보면 현재 언어모델은 초창기 산업시대의 증기기관 같은 레벨이라고 봅니다 이제 처음으로 말을 스스로 할수 있는 모델을 만든것인데 감정노동과 각종 협상도 어찌보면 이놈들이 앞으로 더 잘할것입니다 그래서 주 업무는 이놈들이 하고 사람은 ... 모델훈련과 모니터링하는 일을 맡겠죠 (..) 그리스 시대때부터 다들 이렇게 하길 원했으니 그리 가는것...
