今「SNS」と言うと、まずTwitter型のマイクロブログサービスを連想する人が多いのは興味深いな。当初はFacebookやmixiのような、リアル世界での繋がりを拡張した会員制の総合サービスというイメージの言葉だった。
実際、Twitterが日本でサービスを開始した際の紹介記事に「SNS」という言葉は一切登場しない。むしろ既存のブログとの対比で捉える文脈が多かった。
