A while ago, German lawmakers agreed that an independent advisory council should be established so that regulators hear a lot of different voices on what is going well and poorly about DSA enforcement.

It's made up of representatives from business associations, civil society and consumer protection groups and academics.

Now, one of the current members, HateAid, is being punished by the US administration with visa restrictions.

I've been staring at this mention of "after-school teaching areas" in the latest CLAW email for the past ten minutes. It can't be literal; no schoolkids should be involved in the dungeon. I thought it might be about the CLAW class programming, but if that's "school", then those spaces are used *during* school, not after it. If they're talking about informal play in the evenings, then how are those spaces different from the rest of the dungeon? What does this MEAN🫠

The dungeon complex itself is 2,200 square feet of private space — two dungeon rooms and four after-school teaching areas. Lockers sit immediately outside. Rent one. Strip when you arrive. Dress when you leave. That transition is part of the ritual.

Resolution for 2026:
Whenever somebody uses “AI” with a positive qualifier (like “feminist”, “public-interest”, “ethical”, “explainable”, “socialist”, “democratic” or “open-source”) in my presence, I will start a debate to debunk that term. I am so fed up with listening to that bs.

Oh, and I will count the days it takes to become a social outcast.

I am honestly amazed that most European companies are not worrying remotely about having an M365 / Google / Amazon / Apple exit strategy.

The world has changed, the US is no longer friendly and you need to prepare for that.

Not doing it is negligent at this point.

I had someone comment on a PR (that was closed by its author) saying that it had been over a month since the last part of the discussion on there and asking if I'd had time to do anything about it. I don't think folks realize how many things are competing for attention on github; I've turned off most notifications, but it's still a lot of stuff in my notification inbox. I simply don't have time to prioritize on closed issues or PRs; I barely have time for those that are open!
