In the past, I have used the following custom user model for Django because it uses (1) email addresses as usernames and (2) short name and long name fields instead of first and last names. I believe both of these are significant improvements over the default user model.

I think it got delivered in December.
I put it together yesterday (January 5th).

The instructions are pretty good. I was able to put it together pretty easily.
However, I encountered a problem.
The Framework Desktop computer is not outputting anything on HDMI.
(Which, of course, makes it unusable.)

I reached out to Framework Support (via e-mail). Hopefully, they can help.

我是在市場長大的小孩。
大家對於市場的印象往往都是吵吵鬧鬧，然而我家這邊是早市，市場的喧囂到中午就嘎然而止，或許十二點多一點還有一些人陸續收攤，但到了下午，就回到了平靜如湖水般寂靜，偶有汽車與摩托車緩緩經過。
以前念國小下午沒課時，我總會跟朋友在休市後的市場裡騎車，偶有還沒離開的攤販，倚靠在市場的一角沉沉睡去，地上還有沒賣完的商品，有時是尋常的鍋碗瓢盆、自家採摘的蔬菜、或是曬得乾癟的花菜干或菜脯。
這些攤販都有一種氣質，就是時間忘了他們，他們也忘了時間。
有時這些攤販見我們這些小孩有趣，可能就包了一些蔬果要我們帶回去，而有的就跟我們說起故事來，那時他們來自於當時對我們很遠很遠的地方，像是芬園、和美、伸港、芳苑或二林等等。他們有的騎摩托車來，有的騎腳踏車來，但是他們故事很近很近。
有的年輕時跑船，傷了腰就退休在家種菜，有的是榮民，自己喜歡醃些臘肉做些辣醬，有的年輕時不可一世，卻妻離子散，孓然一生。那些故事慢慢變成我童年的一部份，佔據我內心的一塊角落。
我是在市場長大的小孩，市場裡面什麼都賣，包括人生與故事。
