Hey all,
I have a friend who's been trying to get on Mastodon but tells me that it doesn't seem to play well with screen readers. I know there are plenty of people on the fedi who do use screen readers, but I have no experience with them myself, so I can't really direct him.
Can someone who does use a #ScreenReader point me in the direction of some resources that might be useful?

@joplinappJoplin as a note taking app for just over a year now and I’ve found it super helpful. It’s fairly autonomous, it is transferring data through my own Dropbox subscription via API. Nothing “AI” shoved into it.

언젠가 했던 얘기: "애니나 게임 해외에서 뭐 대박치면 한국은 망해가는 이유 같은 거 진영 가리지 않고 나오는데 늘 하는 얘기지만 우리나라는 인구로 보건 경제 규모로 보건 어이없을 정도로 잘되는 중임 예전부터. 미 일 중과 비비려고 생각하는 것 자체가 좀 터무니없다는 것부터 생각해야 함." 난 애초에 게임이란 분야에 종사하는 회사가 개별 군소 제작사가 아니라 '산업'이라고 부를 수 있는 규모로 존재하는 것만도 기적이라고 생각함.
Humans have invented new notations for computation many times over, each with some interesting new take on things. Text markup and layout, same. So I find it weird that there's only one notation for laying out mathematical formulas: LaTeX.

Mastodon return step one is turning on Advanced view and pinning the local timeline.
I feel there has to be a better UX design that keeps a simple default view but highlights the Local Timeline, given it's a unique feature the fediverse has over closed platforms.
@zoneghost There is: try http://phanpy.social it is perhaps my favorite web view of any social network at all - and the one I use a ton for the Fediverse.
