Wow, I just reinstalled NixOS and I didn't have to download gigabytes of data!

The trick was to build a custom ISO using nixos-generators. This ISO contained the same programs and configurations as the system I wanted to reinstall. When I then ran nixos-install from the live installer, it was able to source most paths from the local Nix store!

예전에, 인터넷 게시판에서 사람들이 "트황상"이니 뭐니 하는 말을 쓸 때, 내 속으로는 비꼬아서 쓰는 말이겠지 싶었음.

물론, 비꽈서 쓰는 분들이 다수였지만, 문자 그대로 미국을 상국으로 트럼프를 정말 상국인 미국의 황상처럼 받드는 정신없는 자들도 있다는 걸 알고선 기겁을 했었다.

이런 말은 조심해야 하는 말이지만, 우리나라나 전세계적으로나 mindless drone이라고 불려야 할 존재가... 적지 않다싶다.

온세상이 다 Next를 쓰니까 힙스터 프레임워크로 너무 버티기 어렵다... 이 세상에 이 오류를 겪는게 나밖에 없다... 구글도모른다AI도모른다... 디버그에 며칠 쓰다가 죽겠다... 그냥갈아탈까...

1. 일본은 부부동성(夫婦同姓)을 법으로 강제하는 나라. 즉, 혼인 관계가 인정되면 남성의 성을 여성이 따르는 형태.
2. 수많은 여성 / 인권단체가 이걸 바꾸기 위해 노력 중.
3. 반대로 게이/레즈 커플도 생활동반자 형태로 가족으로 인정되는 추세(대법 판결이 아직 남았는데...)
4. 문제는 실정법이 따라오는데 시간이 걸려 입양한 아이의 육아에 대한 문제가 발생(병원, 보험, 유산 각종 재증명)
지금까지의 결론 : 퀴어 부부도 부부동성(夫婦同姓)에 따라야 하니 한쪽 성으로 통일해서 온가족이 쓰세요.

Occasionally NixOS updates break, and I find myself unable to build a new system until it's fixed upstream. But then I realize I can just revert back to the last stable commit of my config git repository and be on my merry way. Nix really brings some of the best aspects of software development (such as a last known good commit) to configuring your OS.

By the way I can recommend "nh" as an excellent wrapper around the basic system tools. It provides a lot more information on what packages were updated, added and removed.

예전에, 인터넷 게시판에서 사람들이 "트황상"이니 뭐니 하는 말을 쓸 때, 내 속으로는 비꼬아서 쓰는 말이겠지 싶었음.

물론, 비꽈서 쓰는 분들이 다수였지만, 문자 그대로 미국을 상국으로 트럼프를 정말 상국인 미국의 황상처럼 받드는 정신없는 자들도 있다는 걸 알고선 기겁을 했었다.

Finally got with macvlan and DHCP working. I was hitting this bug in netavark 1.17.0: github.com/containers/netavark

1.17.1 fixes it, but 25.11 still ships 1.17.0. Luckily, it’s easy on NixOS to simply overlay netavark with the version from nixpkgs-unstable while keeping the rest on 25.11.
