GPT-5.2급을 100배 저렴하게 하는 건 가능하겠지만 그게 오픈 AI만 가능한 것도 아니고 너무 낙관적인 것 같은 인상을 지울 수가 없다. AI가 유용한 면이 있기야 하는데 '도구'가 아닌 '대체제'로 취급하기 시작하면 위험하다고 생각.

Today, I installed my first FreeBSD update after switching to pkgbase. It worked perfectly and felt much faster than the “old way” using `freebsd-update`. As a user, I also feel that I can better understand what is happening.
However, boot environments are no longer created automatically before updates to the base system.
에이전트 써서 코딩하면 전체 작업의 80% 정도까지는 제법 빠른 속도와 편안함을 느끼며 개발할 수 있는데, 마무리 20% 를 스스로 끝맺지 못한다. 뒤로 갈 수로 인간이 개입하는 비율이 점점 높아지게 되네.

I love #activitypub but seeing how slow its development is compared to #atproto makes it hard to be excited about it. This goes for both protocol development and ecosystem development.
ATproto has many cool projects popping up every month, the vision is clear and platforms integrate with each other.
I don't see this excitement and work on the ActivityPub side :(
@res260Émilio Gonzalez I think part of that is the API.
In our ecosystem, we've normalized that you have to build the whole server side, with data storage and network interoperability and so on, for every single new kind of app.
It'd be great if you could use a standard API to make cool apps, and leave all the plumbing to a general-purpose server.
That's what we're doing in the ActivityPub API task force at w3c.

Next up will be a VPN ban. Many tech-y people will see that and think “lol yeah well that’s not going to stop *me* from using a VPN”
A VPN ban isn’t really meant stop you from using one. It means when they catch you doing so, they’ll use the fact you’re using this harmless technology itself as a *pretense* to lock you up without needing to do any “hard work” (i.e. an investigator’s job) like actually confirming whether you committed a real crime.
Don’t think you won’t be impacted just because you know how to outsmart an ISP filter! This is not a plan to protect children or stop you from consuming adult media. It is a ploy to eventually eliminate ALL freedom of expression and free access to information in the UK.
And the same goes for Chat Control and encrypted messengers, btw
