It sounds like the problem here is that they were trying to solve a people problem with AI. I've worked in exactly these kinds of codebases, where knowledge about the code is a kind of "oral culture" where you have to know who to ask before you start making changes. Sic'ing an AI on that kind of codebase is going to cause a lot of carnage.

最近身邊有一個親戚被CHATGPT給吞掉了。一開始他還會對ChatGpt給的資訊小心謹慎的應對，還會去查證，在使用CHATGPT時也會要求適當資料來源，也會多方驗證。

但從結果看，當他使用習慣後，他對ChatGpt給的資訊顯然有過多的信任，他喜歡分享的投資資訊現在的錯誤率遠高於過去他一筆筆資訊慢慢爬梳整理出來的結論，但現在的他顯然沒有意識到自己的改變，不只是沒意識到資訊正確性的偏差而且還認為自己掌握到了未來的走勢。

要提醒，ChatGpt這是語言模型庫，這不是專業的股市或是資料分析工具，對於他整理出來的資訊如果沒有判斷正確與否的專業能力以及持續驗證資訊的耐心，使用這類工具對使用者有害。

Yeah, I acted like a jerk a year ago, and let many people down, but everything was put into perspective when I lost my baby, my dog in February, and I realized I sacrificed so much time on Pixelfed and the fediverse that I should have spent with my dog.

Nothing mattered to me more, losing Drake was the worst thing that ever happened to me, and it led me to realize I was a jerk and needed to be humbled.

But not that much 😭

I'm not that jerk anymore, Drake would want us all to thrive together ❤️

2018 waren #RitaSüssmuth und ich im zdf morgenmagazin eingeladen, um über 100 jahre frauenwahlrecht zu sprechen. auf unseren auftritt wartend, saßen wir am bühnenrand. da nahm ich mir ein fangirlherz und dankte ihr für den einsatz gegen HIV/AIDS. sie erwiderte gerührt, dass sie das ohne die starke unterstützung aus der bevölkerung nicht geschafft hätte, denn: von ihrer partei kam ja nichts. diese ehrlichen worte haben meinen eh schon hohen respekt erneut wachsen lassen.

We’ve been running Vhsky.cz for almost a year and we know we can provide video-on-demand well, but this month we proved that we can also handle streaming a larger conference. The whole event gave us a great deal of experience, which I have summarized in this blog post.
