적어도 내 분야에서는 그런 거 안 봤으면 싶어서, 누가 초보자에게 좋은 RPG가 뭐냐고 물어보면 RPG 룰 난이도 같은 건 다 거기서 거기니 자기 맘에 드는 거 하라고 조언해 왔다. 심지어 표지가 예쁘다는 이유로 하는 게 어느 "올드비"가 던져준 커리큘럼을 따르는 것보다 나음.

이유가 있죠.
이 정도의 성공은 회사가 감당할 수 없었으니까요.
SF만이 아니라, 처음 관심 갖는 사람을 "올드비"들이 "입문자"라 부르며 커리큘럼을 제시하는 경향이 애니메이션, 만화, 위스키, 차, 음악 등등 온갖 것들에 있더라. 나는 이것을 일종의 텃세로 여긴다.

We are officially almost done!
The quooted toot was news that we had receive motivation of a favorable decision in our adoption case. But that wasn’t the end — there was a 14-day waiting period for one of the interested parties (me, Ms. FoC, or the baby [lol]) to object to the decision. Today we go the notice that the court case is finalized 🎉
Now what’s left is to go to city hall and add FoK to our family registry (and refill out paperwork for health insurance, daycare, etc.)

普通の三井住友カードでは3-Dセキュアの認証コードは電子メールで来てそこに利用予定の金額も書かれているのに、OliveだとSMSでしか来なくて文字数の制約からか利用金額が省略されているのがむずむずする。これだと原理的には加盟店側が3-Dセキュアのコードの入力ページをすり替えて利用金額を低く見せることも出来るだろうし（そんなの一瞬で足が付くというのはそれはそう）

For those not in the US, iHeartRadio is a massive corporation that has gone through and bought up a massive amount of radio stations across the whole country, fired any of the local talent, and just pump out the same playlists and DJ sound bites in their genres all over the country. So there's basically no difference between the rock station in Chicago or the rock station in DC.
For THAT corp who has ripped out every bit of human soul to music and turned it into cookie cutter formula stomped out everywhere to dunk on you...

I recently saw someone leave fedi at least temporarily as a result of harassment, and one thing they highlighted was that most of us don't see the harassment they were getting because of how federation works and the fact that our instances block all the vile ones most of the harassment was coming from.
They were running their own single-user instance. 🙁
We really need better resources for single user instances to benefit from third-party moderation resources, but we also need to get the narrative out that running a single user instance is a horrible idea unless you want to be your own fulltime moderator or drowned in engagement from the worst parts of the net. Treating it as a viable option now really sours folks to the whole concept.
