GTK 4.22.0, the first stable release of GTK 4.22 is now available!

Lots of changes happened in this development cycle:

- a new SVG-based format for symbolic icons, including state-based animations
- GtkSvg, a paintable that renders (animated) SVG efficiently
- GtkAccessibleHypertext, an interface for accessible object containing links
- GtkPopoverBin is a new widget that you can use to show a popover menu on a widget

미국 정부는 일단 로비를 못하게 해야하는데 여러번 시도해도 잘안되긴하더라 몇몇 의원들이 바꾸려고 해도 대부분 맛이 가서 통과를 안시켜줌 ㅋㅋㅋ ㅎㅎ;; 이것도 그렇고 주식거래 못하게 하는거라든지 내부적으로 노력해도 고인물들이 바꿀 생각이 전혀 없는것 같긴함 어떻게든 미국내 부패와 비효율만 제거되도 생각외로 도덕적인(?) 미국이 될수 있겠지만... 아마 내가 살아있는 시기에는 일어나기 어려울듯;;

I've been experimenting with Owncast recently (after having last tried it a couple of years ago), and it's *super* nice these days. The Fediverse integration is wonderful (it posts to its own "instance" whenever streams begin, and you can follow that if you'd like, and you can also authenticate to the chat with a Fediverse account). And the S3 object storage makes global streaming really efficient.

This thread talks about going back to an #ActivityPub users's home server to validate a user's content, because you can't trust that the event you got for it is unmodified.

But you can't trust what the home server tells you the content of the message is either! There's nothing stopping a home server from serving a modified version of your content every time it's requested, say, to inject ads into it, or censor bits it doesn't like.

Or to just completely fabricate new content from you.

Purge files off your pc. You won't regret it. I cleaned up 38 gb just now by going in and deleting shit I don't need and shit that doesn't get removed by the uninstaller. I can't even imagine what other useless crap is on there that I don't even need. Have you uninstalled something recently? Go to the search bar in file explorer and check everything that could possibly have anything to do with it and just go to town. Even if you have no reason to, it is incredibly satisfying. Just remove shit.
