Hackers' Pub is a place for software engineers to share their knowledge and experience with each other. It's also an ActivityPub-enabled social network, so you can follow your favorite hackers in the fediverse and get their latest posts in your feed.
I'm mentoring someone who's interested in #creativecoding and #generativeart, especially in the space of #gamedev and #alife. His biggest challenge is going beyond dabbling in private to actually following through with a project. I think this comes down to finding good tools for "quick and dirty" work, as well as finding venues or communities for sharing his output and getting feedback.
Does anyone have advice or pointers I could share with him? Boosts appreciated!

Here’s one of my more reflective poems, written while waiting for a train at a provincial railway station.
최근에 일어난 테슬라 사이버트럭의 FSD 사고 영상인데 차가 휴스턴 고속도로에서 콘크리트 고가도로 차단벽에 충돌하는 모습을 보여준다. 이번 사고도 일론 머스크와 테슬라 팬보이들은 운전자를 비난하는데 충돌 4초 전에 운전자가 FSD를 해제했다는 로그가 근거라고 주장중. 문제는 운전자가 이를 해결하는데 4초는 너무 짧은 시간이고 이게 FSD가 완벽 작동했다는 근거도 되지 못한다.
이런 감독형의 문제는 대부분의 상황에서는 잘 작동하지만 이런식으로 오작동을 일으키는 경우 운전자가 할 수 있는 일이 없다는 것도 문제다. 평소에 이 시스템을 신뢰하게 만들고 이는 오작동시 대응하는데 어려움을 준다. 그리고 비전 온리로만 자율주행을 실현하겠다는게 얼마나 큰 오만인지 좀 깨달아야 하는데 레이더 센서가 있었으면 이런 사고도 미리 방지 할 수 있었을 거라고 본다.
