@chabulhwiBulhwi Cha You can only make a mistake if you are capable of recognizing it as a mistake, or if at least other consider you should be capable of. Otherwise, it's just an unsupported claim.
LLM engines cannot recognize the true from the false, hence they only make unsupported claims.
It is the user who, facing those claims, can tranform them into statements that have a truth content, in a similar way to when people recognize animals when looking at clouds.

description of food

My bestie: Hey, what are you looking at?

Me: The vegetarian section

Bestie: *looks at vegetarian section, looks rest of buffet, looks at me, looks back at vegetarian section* is that it?

Me: well, there's a pot of soup over there, but otherwise, yes, this is it

Bestie: Sooooo... why are you staring at it?

Me: There were crispy pancakes here earlier, but now they're gone. I've seen a lot of carnivores get food from here, so maybe they have eaten them.

Bestie: Ah. So you're standing guard?

Me: Not really, just waiting, hoping that they'll refill the crispy pancakes

Random guy with a plate full of bbq'ed shrimp and oysters: *walks to vegetarian buffet and takes a couple of spring rolls*

Bestie: Hey, are you vegetarian?

Shrimp guy: Eh. No.

Bestie: Well, this is the vegetarian section. Maybe better if you take from the rest of this gigantic buffet?

Shrimp guy: Ah, yes, good suggestion, thanks! *continues to help himself to vegetarian food*

Bestie & Me: 👁️👄👁️

I know this is, like, the least important thing, but: I want to see Marc andreesen answer for his wordcel/shape rotator bullshit. He's almost single-handedly responsible for it. He invented this nonsense dichotomy to justify how his inability to explain things to people or to understand their explanations actually made him a special super genius. Then he set his incel followers on a bunch of people about it. And obviously he did it in the most misogynistic way possible. And now here he is, jerking off the chatbots that are fundamentally and exclusively word manipulators, and claiming they are our equals.

As an person, I use pre-written phrases on cards I can flip between when speech is difficult/impossible. But I realized I have a magic crystal with me all the time, so I implemented them on iPhone! It's free, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

This is designed to replace a set of cards you flip through, letting you use text on your phone instead. :)

And while we're releasing, here's a double-feature, mostly to avoid GitHub Actions complaining about deprecated actions:

- github.com/hynek/build-and-ins

- github.com/hynek/setup-cached-

If you sometimes have trouble building your packages in CI and would like better introspection and debugability, definitely check out build-and-inspect-python-package!
