Spotify is literally hosting an Andrew Tate podcast on “how to recruit and exploit women for pornography.”

They were hosting three of them. Two were removed because of public pressure, but one remains. He literally should have no platform for any reason.

Please boycott Spotify until they end this. And contact them to let them know that he’s a repugnant pile of shit who needs to be punched in the face.

Spotify logo and a quote from Andrew: “trafficking women and keeping their earnings. I take all the money from all my girls. I take it all. I pay fractions to them because I give them enough to do their nails and hair so they stay pretty. So they can make me more money. It’s all about me.”Spotify logo and a quote from Andrew: “how to make money selling women. The girl has to be smiling. She has to be happy. The men aren’t going on there to see some miserable bitch. Their wife is a miserable bitch. They’re spending money to see a happy girl.”Spotify logo and a quote from Andrew: “how to trick women into commercial sexual exploitation. We’ll give you a fake name, a fake location. No one’s going to know it’s you. Just lie. Someone will probably recognize her eventually. By then it’s too late.”

오늘의 일기

  • hackers.pub 첫 포스트!

OH yeah love ending my workday with a surprise National Geographic interview about the Saturn moons that I helped discover by accidentally pointing the CFHT telescope at Saturn. Definitely my most scientifically productive whoopsie ever.

128!!!! New!!! MOONS!!

Happy Moon Day!

Not quite sure if this is genius or madness. But, it is kind of nice to prototype getting data right in the template, though. 😇

For those who aren't used to looking at template tags:
- parenthesis are usually not allowed in template tags
- all models from all installed apps are available to be queried
- any method can be called on any nested object

Next step is to make a custom HTML tag in dj-angles so it doesn't look like DTL at all. 😇

A Django template with the following:

```
{% load dj_angles %}
{% model Movie objects.filter(id=1) as movie1 %}
{ movie1 }}
```

Pinned boundaries

Minors don’t interact please.

I’m Christian and I’m really queer and non-dogmatic about it. I CW my own posts about it but can’t promise the same for boosts.

I ignore obnoxious replies. Nothing I post is an invitation to debate me. Blocks and mutes aren’t necessarily personal, but I can and will protect my peace on here.

Bigots, kick rocks.

If we’re local mutuals you are allowed to slide into my DM’s. Worst that happens is you make an irl friend.

Thanks 💖

Trump pre-election: If you elect Kamala Harris, we'll have a recession, prices will rise, the market will crash, and other nations won't respect us.

Trump post-election: We're slipping into a self-induced recession, prices are rising due to tariffs, the market is down almost 10%, and nations no longer consider us a reliable or trusted ally.

Well done, MAGA. It only took two months for Trump to cause all the things he said Harris would cause.

There's a joke in one of Ken MacLeod's novels where a character is flipping through Trotsky's 1938 _Transitional Program_, reads the line "Already new inventions and improvements fail to raise the level of material wealth." and thinks to themselves (this is from memory) "ah, they'd already invented computers back then."

Anyway, here's some engineering nightmare fuel:

-------------------

"Management bought Cursor pro for everyone and said that they expect to see a return on that investment."

(It's $20/month, BTW...)

-------------------

"One of our OKRs is basically "Use AI more" and one of the ways they're measuring that is Copilot suggestion acceptance %."

-------------------

"At our monthly engineering all hands, they give us a report on our org’s usage of Copilot (which has slowly been increasing) and tell us that we need to be using it more. Then a few slides later we see that our sev incidents are also increasing."

-------------------

"Everyone got copilot licenses with a few strings attached:

- A mandate that all developers should deliver 50% more story points per sprint, along with a public tracking spreadsheet that showed the per-sprint story points completed for every individual developer in the company.

- A mandate for us managers to randomly spot-check PRs for devs to explain how AI was used to complete the PR. We were told to reject the PRs if they did not explain it."

COVID denial led to a surge in anti-vaccine and anti-science beliefs, especially among middle class and more affluent white people who felt entitled to business as usual and being waited on hand and foot by poor, non-white people in the middle of a pandemic.

They cheered and abandoned all precautions when they thought the pandemic mostly killed those same poor, non-white people, and they are determined to never have to care about anyone else ever again.

The anti-trans hysteria probably couldn't have taken hold as easily in the US if these same people weren't already heavily indoctrinated in a "fuck you, you can't make me care" mentality because of COVID and science denial.

All these brittle, whiny narcissists insisting they are entitled to do whatever they want with them and their children's lives even if it kills them. The same people who would rather have a dead child than an autistic one feel the same way about their kid being trans.
