Hackers' Pub is a place for software engineers to share their knowledge and experience with each other. It's also an ActivityPub-enabled social network, so you can follow your favorite hackers in the fediverse and get their latest posts in your feed.

터미널에서는 아무래도 SIGINT를 발생시키기 위한 Ctrl-C와 구분하기 위해 Ctrl-Shift-C를 써야 하는데, 간혹 이를 실수해서 출력 일부를 클립보드에 복사하려다가 돌아가고 있는 프로세스를 중단시키기도 하고, Firefox 같은 데서 Ctrl-Shift-C를 눌러서 개발자 도구를 띄워버리기도 한다.
macOS의 경우에는 터미널에서는 전혀 쓰이지 않는 Command 키가 일종의 센티널 값 역할을 하기 때문에 터미널을 포함하여 어느 애플리케이션을 쓰고 있든 일관적으로 Command-C 키를 쓸 수 있다. 뭐, 내가 macOS를 너무 오래 써서 (2004년부터 썼음) 이쪽이 더 편하다고 느끼는 것 뿐일 수도 있지만…

During the past month I dedicated my time mostly to working on another project of mine, mpris-scrobbler: a scrobbling user daemon for linux distributions, so there’s no updates for anything related to #GoActivityPub and the rest of the applications.
I did have a couple of updates on my Mastodon account about the frustrations of writing C code as someone that only dabbles with it, and how the Coverity issues were slowly growing in number despite my attempts to write better code.
The main problem that was that debugging asynchronous network code where the bugs manifest inconsistently was quite time consuming, and as soon as it looked as I fixed an issue, it manifested yet again. At the moment, I hope the application is in a good state, but I’ll tag a new version sometime in the near future, after I do another pass to reduce the 66 leftover defects reported by Coverity.
At the moment I have reached a point where this effort is begining to annoy me, therefore I’ll switch back to ActivityPub work for a while. The first issues to investigate are related to ONI and how the attachments are not being displayed correctly. For this specific purpose, this post has a nice foto of a sunset I took from my balcony, with a number of contrails criss crossing in the sky to form a latice.

Agree with most of this, but it's slightly unfair to compare the syntaxes, when "let*" in ocaml can make it look closer to Haskell's "do" blocks. After all, "do" is simply (a nice) syntactic sugar for those same chained binds and lambdas, and you could write the Haskell in that style too. Fwiw, I've gone in the other direction over time, from Haskell to Ocaml, partly because the typeclasses make type inference harder and the resulting compiler errors so much less clear.

KT 클라우드 해지 하려 했더니 모든 리소스를 수작업으로 지워야 해지가 가능하다. 심지어 storage 서비스는 내부의 파일을 손수 모두 지워야 storage 서비스 삭제가 가능하다.
이 한심한 수준의 서비스는 애초에 클라우드 사업에선 글로벌 기업에 비비지도 못할 역량으로 뛰어든 결과다.
