I think that the thing that bums me out about LLM shit the most isn't the rampant theft required to build them; or the ludicrous amounts of energy required to run them; or even the money-boner it gives the capital class at the idea of being able to replace all human labor.

I think the thing that bums me out the most is that, with the massive amounts of bullshit being produced by it, it brings us closer to a world where everything sucks and no one gives a shit.

Like, I give a lot of shit. I take pride in the work I do for others. I try REALLY REALLY hard to give my full best effort at everything I do. But these LLMs seem to encourage a very "shit-it-and-ship-it" mentality around content generation and retch vibe coding

#Poll for current and FORMER users of #Fedora:

If you currently daily-drive Fedora, or have done so within the past five years, what was your overall opinion of it as a desktop OS?

I'm asking with an eye to stability for work use, and ease of upgrade (whether or not the twice-a-year upgrades ever break).

I'm thinking of switching my work machine over from Debian, and possibly using Fedora as the OS that I wean my coworker away from windows with.

Pareix que quan l'Ajuntament de Palma via radars urbans detecta un excés de velocitat, l'empresa subcontractada per realitzar la notificació de la multa actua de mala fe i no la notifica fefaentment (s'han trobat cartes de multes tirades per terra).

Això fa que la multa augmenti d'import imputat i en posterioritat, com que tampoc se notifica a l'interessat, acaba en un requeriment a l'ATIB d'embargament.

Hi ha una associació de persones afectades: "Stop multes sense notificació!!
Plataforma i Associació d’Afectats" que lidera en Jaume Escales.

I el cas ja està als jutjats.

I tot això, com sabeu, és presumptament. Encara que pareix que és més "plausiblement".

També pareix que ningú controla els radars i no es sap si estan ben calibrats.

Ara per ara l'única solució és: evitar els radars, anar en o patinet elèctric, o està empadronat a un municipi que no sigui Palma (l'empresa que notifica les multes només ho fa a Palma; a fora-vila, usen Correus que és "més de fiar" (!))

それがトランプじゃんとは思うけど、慣らされずに「はぁ～？？？」を言い続けないとアカン。あと今回に限らず、本来なら放送できないような言い回しを穏当な翻訳するのもどうなのか。

これに限らずトランプの言葉は和訳で柔らかくなってて、でも主要国の元首であんな言葉遣いするひと珍しいからたぶん新聞社とかも困ってるんだろうなと思いつつ、だからこそそのまま強いニュアンスで訳してほしさはある
